Like the title says I could use some help with a warrior build. Also what party members should I run with my character and how should I set up the priortys or whatever they are called. Any help would be much appericated.

Well there's three type of Warriors: Sword and Shield, two-handed, and dual-wielding. Which one where you interested in? I love warriors. Sword and Shield is more like a tank. While Two-handed and Dual-wielding is more DPS(damage per second) usually used along side a tank like Alistair.

I'll let someone else help with the build once you say which one.

I was thinking of a sns warrior because that is what was recomended to bet the Harvester on hard.

Don't even begin to worry about that now. In Awakening you can buy stacks of books that allow you to redistribute all your points. You can, if you want, respecialize just before Harvester and go back afterwards. So do not let that one fight dictate your whole build.

And for the record, I beat the Harvester on hard with an archer, and it was very easy once I found the right strategy.

I recommend 2h warriors in general. They are by far the most fun to play for me. They start out with too few attacks, but by midgame they are absolute beasts. They also rely more on activated abilities than other combat builds, so it's a more interactive playstyle than most.

I remember my early builds before I came online: I gave my guy constitution and also gave Zevran constitution because he didn't have any, ha ha. Now I would consider getting constitution to be a big mistake unless your playing Shale of course. He's a constitution tank. I think Zevran should have dexterity if I'm not mistaken.

I made it through my early playthroughs on easy. Just have Morrigan with Blizzard or firestorm.(Oops you want to play on hard which has friendly fire that's going to be difficult.)  Warriors need a lot of strength so they can lift their armor.

Oh, drat a high dex. dual-wielder doesn't need that much Strength and can use two daggers.

My first character was a mage that went wit 2:1 magic willpower ratio. Then I read the forums and tried again with pure magic and didn't actually lack mana. The game is a bit non-intuitive at times I think, and constituion and willpower are far too weak. Too little gain per point, and furthermore you get HP and mana/stamina just from leveling up, and the amount you get is sufficient.

Just to set the record straight here: For a warrior, a moderate investment in willpower is, while completely unnecessary, not harmful to your character. Magic, cunning and constitution are a waste though, beyond the 16 cunning you need for Coercion (and 5 of those points can be gained for free in the Fade).

2h warrior: Pure strength. Or set your willpower at 20-30 and put the rest into strength if you feel like it. More than that, and your build has been diluted into uselessness. A word of warning about dex here: Don't. It's awful for 2h so don't go for it unless you want to gimp yourself. DW is a much better choice if you want dex.

DW warrior: Pure strength or 36 strength plus the rest dexterity both work. Strength builds should use 2 full sized weapons, dex builds should use daggers.

Archer: Enough strength to wear whatever armor you want. The rest dex.

SnS: Not too knowledgable about this one myself. I tried going full strength with Alistair and it worked surprisngly well. Otherwise I imagine enough strength for massive armor and the rest dex is pretty awesome for a tank..

For every warriors, no matter what type, your priority will be Strength, Dexterity, Willpower and Constitution. Just fill up your attributes in these, you will be okay.

You doesn't have to make a tank, dps or whatever, just enjoy as you like.

It pays to focus on your strengths rather than trying to be everything all at once. There are also warrior builds that only need enough strength for the armor they wear, after which dex becomes plain better.
