i was thinking that for a 3rd game (The second 1 sucked) u could be almost at the end of ur time, and are taking on these young new recruits, out into The Deep Roads to kill Darkspawn, but when u get there, Orzammar is under seige by Darkspawn, and after u help defeat or push them ack, The King (Whoever u picked in the first game) Asks u to lead a small expedition (Ur Warden-recruits and Bodahn and Sandle (AKA Merchants) into the Deep Roads to find the cause, and on the way u could not only clear out the Deep Roads, but Kal Sharok, and some of the Old Thaigs?
And at the end u have a BIG battle at Bownammar with The Legion of the Dead at ur side (Whats left of them) and u retake it, i have way more on this, but this is just the run-down, if any1 is interested in this, msg me!
This is, as i said, just the basic idea, if you have nything you want to add, or if you wanna argue with me about it  Please reply here, or message me!

I'm pretty sure the plot for the next DA game is going to focus on the Mage-Templar war(sadly)...but that does sound pretty interesting.I would love to be a Grey Warden again,and have the Darkspawn be the primary antagonist again.

its not really Dragon-Age without Darkspawn.... but mybe they will reconsider, or do it for the 4th?

I disagree on the whole "Darkspawn need to be front and center," I don't particularly find the Darkspawn to be all that interesting. They only thing that's interesting about them is their origin story and how they were created. Maybe the next Dragon Age game should focus on.... I don't know... dragons?

The Dragon Age has nothing to do with Dragons, it is the name of the century, The dude who was naming it was just about to when a High Dragon attacked, and so it was named, dumdum, get ur facts straight!
