Spoilers below...

Alright I was just wondering about a few  things pertaining to the quest in the mages tower where you and your companions become trapped in the fade.

1. When you and your companions enter the fade each companion has a nightmare, what about your dog?  If you happen to have your dog in your party at the time does he also have a nightmare?  Dorky/random question I know but I've wondered since the quest but never had him in my party at the time of entry.

2. Throughout the game it is made extremely clear that dwarves cannot dream, nor can they enter the fade by any means.  So why is it that when playing as a dwarf you become trapped in the fade by the sloth demon?  Can Oghren enter the fade as well?  I just don't get it.

These things confused me so if anyone can shed some light on this it'd be awesome.

In response to number 2: D. Gaider answered this question in a previous thread. In a nutshell, he indicated that dwarves can be "pulled" into the fade. Dwarves cannot go into the fade without outside "assistance".

Well...

1. Yes the dog has his own dream... try it. Its nothing that impressive tho.

2. Yes. Its a game play mechanic. According to the lore dwarves don't enter fade when they dream...But the developers had to let the dwarf PC or Oghren into the fade i guess for the gameplays sake.

To answer (1), the dog doesnt have any sort of nightmare. You just wake him up when you get there. Nothing special happens.

Dwarfs as Maconbar said can be pulled into the fade.

1. Yes. And no. You just see him twitching in his sleep, you shake him awake, he happily bounces off, done. As with all other aspects of Dog's interaction, the nightmare is woefully underdeveloped.

2. That is a good question. I read that Oghren does wonder what is hapoening in his nightmare. Maybe the sloth demon is just so powerful he can drag anyone into the Fade. (Edit: Ah, already answered by others.)
