I would love a dlc with Jack but i am not sure Bioware will do one, i think Jack is only in the game if you upload a save only.

A few pages back there was a dicussion about this.  Theoretically, it would be possible to alter that for a DLC - meaning if you downloaded the DLC and started a new game - Jack would be alive and Miranda would be loyal (so she wouldn't die).

Agreed.  She is wayyyyy too good of a character for her ME3 storyline to have again been squandered away on her sister.

Felt so damn reduntant to her loyalty mission.

I did like the Sanctuary mission though - just wish the road leading to it had been a bit more interesting in terms of Miranda's story.

I wish Miranda had been responsible for the Cerberus Coup on the Citadel. Not because she wanted them dead but because she wanted them to awake to the reality of war.
So, with one hand she helps Kai Leng get aboard the station and with the other she helps Shepard reach Kai Leng before he kills any Councilor.

DLC would feature Miranda and jack doing good cop/ bad cop...I really do not know which one would be worse to be interrogated by..shivers.

Oh and I would pay to see it.

Also, wouldnt it  be cool to see Miranda leading Ex-Cerberus troops with Jack and her students (her students would provide abrrier protection or just help them). That woudl be cool to see, former "enemies" working together , reconciling differences, taking on a common goal/ enemy, redemption. You know...stuff that are part of the Mass Effect theme.

Maybe taking out a half Reaper hald Cerberus base...perhaps beyond the Omega 4 Relay, as they, Cerberus, have bases out there, according to the Aria comics.

Miranda leading a squad of those ex-cerberus Pheonix troopers from MP. I would pay anything to see that.

I won't lie.

That is badass.

^ I had always hoped that part of ME3 would entail you overthrowing TIM and Miranda taking over Cerberus.

Oh well ...

I must admit, I want this DLC badly. Maybe with some love scene before Cerberus mission?

Believe me, a lot of people had a similar idea before the game came out.

Yeah, it seemed ... logical?

And more logical still to have Jack around to create all kinds of tension for whatever your choice in that kind of situation might've been.

Throughout all my ME2 playthroughs I never once imagined that Miranda would be sidelined in the final game.

I mean, I didn't think anyone from Mass Effect 2 would've been sidelined.  It wasn't until I actually registered on the BSN (was a longtime lurker) right before ME3 came out that I found out the squad roster.  I was stunned.

Yes this would be great. I didn't like the way in ME3 that there was clearly a love interest character you were 'supposed' to be with (Liara). I did romance Liara in ME1 but that's only because I found Ashley to be irritating, I went for Jack in ME2.

I felt quite guilty about rejecting Liara after that in ME3 I can tell you.

Agreed.
I imagined everything to be exactly one "stage" better: Miranda (and maybe Jack too) would have had roles comparable to what's now Mordin and Wrex. Crucial importance in their Cerberus plot.

Merely small characters like Thane or Samara (sorry fans, they are small) would have that kind of role like Miranda: a few meetings and non-crucial information in the end.

Never been fan of this scenario, but at least it would be better that what we have in ME3.

Indeed. That's the most important part. Characters who love their siblings are a dime a dozen, it was good for Miranda to show that side in ME2 to offset her colder side, but to reduce her to it takes everything away that made her interesting and special.

I'd like to see her lead a group of renegade Cerberus operatives uncovering something important about the Reapers. Or help take Omega back. Anything important and impressive, and on-screen, please! Her absence on Cronos Station was a storytelling crime. Unfortunately, that's beyond repair, but at least a DLC could give us Miranda back instead of the half-baked impostor we get in the main game. Not saying there isn't any good in it of course, but it's 40% of her we see. I want the 100%.

Why is this stickied?

Not that I'm complaining because I TOTALLY want a Miranda/Jack DLC. It could be like a buddy cop film where Miranda & Jack try to hunt down Cerberus criminals Starsky & Hutch style!

When the Cronos Station climax came up and I realized I wasn't going to be able to bring Jack and Miranda I was even more appalled by their treatment in the game.

I think between the two characters, Miranda fares far worse.  She might have more of a presence in the game, but her storyline felt like day-old filler.

At least we got to see a lot of growth in Jack, which compliments her arc in ME2.  Even if it was only for one mission, she's arguably one of the most memorable moments in the game.

Their roles in ME3 need to be expanded, albeit for different reasons.

I think it's a great idea. Both romance lines deserve that. Need more contents, may be before London mission.

The idea has its merits, of course. Which is why it comes up a lot. I personally prefer the idea of Miranda starting a new organisation that represents what she wanted Cerberus to be (Humanity's STG).

But anyway, Miranda needs something like that.

Not bringing Jack and Miranda together for a mission also just seems like a waste, should it never happen (speaking purely in terms of interesting stuff happening and being said).

Although I have no problem with any ME2 character getting more content in ME3. I got nothing but love for everyone and seeing everyone happy with their game play experience. However I am in more support of the Romance DLC Pack (which is not just about the romance, but including missions, more dialogue, etc etc) movement that is happening right now because it includes all four characters and just not two. (Miranda, Jack, Thane and Jacob).

I don't exactly see myself buying a dlc that only supports two characters. Especially when I have spent months supporting all these characters though the ME2 Pax Romance Fan Book, in threads, and even within my own campaign #SaveThane. For me to turn around suddenly and just be about Jacob and Thane or Miri and Jack would just be a contradiction of myself.

My own sibling wouldn't buy it, he wasn't exactly fond of Miri and Jack, more in favor of Thane and Jacob. My friend likes Miri and Thane... etc etc. See my point?

I wish ya all the best of luck and if you do get it, then kudos. :)

Those of us that romanced them got hardcore shafted by ME3.  I would love for them to come out with some DLC where hey played a key roll.  That way we romancers could get more content and thise that did not romance them still get some cool missions and what not.

You might like my review then. I agree with you. I also find them better squadmates then the ones we were stuck with (except Garrus)

I still believe Jack was originally intended to be a companion. Why else would they pay so much attention to overhauling her appearance? No other cameo character got the same treatment. Completely changed character model, a spot in the art book, heck her clothes even have weapon slots on the back. Why? Probably cause they made her character model early in development when she was intended to be a fully fledged companion, then cut her back to a cameo.

It makes me sad to think about. Shes one of my favorite characters.

They reportedly spent over a month debating which characters would be featured as squadmates in ME3, so it's not unlikely that she, like some others, was possibly intended to be featured in the game as a recruitable character.

They should have scene where Jack or Miranda saves Shepard's ass depending on who the love interest is.

It wouldn't. Choices made in imported games would still have the same impact, it would just make the content available in new (non-imported) games. The default is basically an imposed set of choices anyway.
