New would mean fake in this context because there's already an established plot to take advantage of, but they aren't. They're just making something up and avoiding ALL of the issues. Hell, making a new story would create more issues.

I disagree, adding in a Cerberus plot would cause more issues than a new plot, because it would only serve to highlight her complete shut-out of the main Cerberus plot throughout the rest of the game.

... This doesn't even make sense. If the Cerberus issue was addressed via DLC, then there would be no need to reference it in the core game, because it would already be addressed.

How would ass-pulling an original storyline fix her lack of Cerberus content in the core game?

Shameless plug.

Wrote a little one-shot with Jack and Miranda just as a fun little diversion. Feel free to ignore it if you want! :P

Attention Jack/Miranda fans!

As a result of the popularity of the Romance DLC thread and polls on BSN and HTL, folks over at HTL have combined all the suggestions and made a new, more in depth survey.

It will only take 5 minutes of your time, unless you like to make comments, and we hope to get even more responses than on the BSN polls.

Results will be analyzed, summarized into a report, and sent to Bioware.

If you want to be heard on this issue, this is the best way to do it!

Please take the survey!

Really enjoyed it! This is kinda what I would like to see from a Jack/Miranda DLC. Something along the lines of seeing how they interact with each other. Loved that dynamic in ME2 and would love to see some more in DLC later on!

A new storyline is no more of an 'ass-pull' than a Cerberus storyline. They'd both be new content.

The DLC would have to be incorporated into the game in a way that doesn't affect the main plot. This means no Kai Leng (since you have to warn her about him later), likely no TIM, nothing in it that would really affect the outcome of the current Cerberus arc. So basically you'll go off on some mission with her having to do with Cerberus and then she'll be like, "Okay, that was fun. Now I'm bored with Cerberus so I'm going to go chase after my father instead of helping you deal with TIM."

I support this.

I was surprised that Miranda didn't have a larger role in ME3.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, I doubt my writing is very Mass Effect-y but that's the sort of dynamic that I would like to see. A bit of rivalry and antagonising but underneath they'd recognise each other's value.

If the next DLC is not this I am going to be so disappinted... If it is just Shep and his current team takeing back Omega I am going o be so pissed... My own fault for getting my hopes up I guess but everything in this thread has me all pumped for a good LoTSB type DLC with Jack and Miranda playing the Liara role.

Well hopefully someone at bioware is noticing what the community wants, and is planning DLC based on it. This thread is still stickied so i would assume they are looking at it. May not be the next DLC, but hopefully it will come eventually.

You could put them in as OPTIONAL side quests in bigger story based DLCs like the rumored Retake Omega and Leviathan DLCs just remember that not everyone romanced Miranda, Jack, Jacob, or Thane and even though I rarely if ever romanced them I would like to see more of them and they all could benefit from new content.

I mean even Liara, Garrus, Tali, Ash, and Kaiden could benefit from new content.
The new LIs Samantha and Steve WOULD definitely benefit from some new content.

Diana Allers would only benefit if she were to become a real LI and not just a gloryfied one-night stand as she seems to be now. Although I'm not sure many fans would or could tolerate any more of her.

I agree with everything except the bolded, just no.  Bioware would of benifited more if they put her resources into exisiting characters and gone away with that terrible idea (money, money, money!!!!!!)

What I'd like to see in a future DLC is a set up similar to what Mark of the Assassin did in DA2. Who you had in the party had an impact on what sidequests you got in the DLC. A similar thing could be done with your choice of LI or even the squadmate who Shepard has the closest relationship with.

For instance, say if you romanced Miranda a portion of the DLC mission would change to reflect that. Having multiple scenarios for the mission depending on a player's choices within the game would add a lot more replay value. Also, I'd actually like to see Steve get to do something other than getting chased around by fighters for an entire mission.

It almost seems like they didn't want Jack in the game. Kinda like how they did Kal'reeger. Just shoot you an e-mail saying "They're dead, move on".

That's just my opinion though. No need going spreading it around.

Survey completed! I would argue, though, that several of those character-specific questions didn't necessarily need a "Did not romance" option. Wanting people to have access to more romance-specific content, or wanting to have more appropriate responses for Thanes death / Jacob's "moving on" shouldn't be limited to those who romanced them.

i'd pay to be able to airlock her... and for some dlc for Emily Wong to return from the dead to replace her.

the 1st time i talked to her and Aller's said: "wars can be won or lost in the news room." i was like WTF!!!

the war for the entire galaxy could be won because some1 who cant act and looks alergic to bee stings broadcasts my plans... what dip**** thought up that?
