I think it would be simple enough: Petrovsky is there, he is a high-ranking Cerberus operative whose loyalty to TIM has been somewhat shaken by recent events. Miranda comes along to convince him to join his forces to the ex-Cerberus operatives working with the Alliance to defeat the Reapers.

Something along those lines.

Fair enough. Haven't known that guy.

You should. Oleg Petrovsky is a very morally grey character much like Miranda herself.
My second favorite Cerberus operative.

Yeah, Aria's recent comic outing was surprisingly... decent.

Just read that comic that was included in the CE... He could really provide a reason for Miranda to be on Omega. Would fit perfectly in the timeframe between Sanctuary and Cronos.

The best of Oleg is yet to come in that four-parter. If you do end up reading the other three issues, I think you'll feel all the more resolute about that. :D

Still pinned to the top?

This delights me.

Really looking forward to the SDCC panel and hoping we'll hear a little bit about this content as a possibility.

Well, I am not so fond of implementing Miranda and Jack into the Omega DLC. I think that idea just comes to mind because it's the only DLC announcement we have.

Other than flemm's reason, there is that email that says that Miranda is taking matter into her hands against Cerberus. Since there are plenty of operatives there, I imagine taking them down would be a good enough reason to team up with Aria.

Also, didn't the blue monster things come from cerberus bases beyond the omega 4 relay. While miranda may have no stake in omega. Taking omega grants access to the relay thus allowing them to attack those basea or potential basea beyond the relay.

Yes that is a perfect idea, they are opposites and to have them work together on a mission that will have implications to raise the galactic readiness. Bioware would be cloaser to redeeming themselves to the eyes of the fans. I want my Shepard to find Miranda. I can think of thousands of ways to make it work even with the Control and Synthesis endings.

Any DLC that allows me to actually continue the friendships/relationships/connections I built with the ME2 characters I fully support and would pay stupid amounts of money for.

I support ME2 character DLC.
Need more Miranda.
Also need more Kasumi. Those lines of hers on the Hanar diplomat mission need to be fixed. She sounds like she resents Shepard. It's nearly impossible to roleplay even a friendship with her.

I never understood why Jack or Miranda didn't come onboard when the fleets gathered; either before Cerberus HQ or Earth. They didn't just teleport to Earth thru a stargate. They arrived with everyone else. If Hackett can come aboard...

I wouldn't mind if Bioware would just model Tali after Liz Sroka and give her a real romance scene like Ashley and Liara instead of the fade to black nonsense. I found it annoying that you're in bed with a chick who puts on a full biosuit afterwards just to chat with you in bed. It's immersion breaking. Why is she in such a rush to get dressed (after stating she has adapted to Shepard) while Ash and Liara remain undressed? Garrus might be a bit weird, but I can think of some tasteful ways to scropt it.

... Because it's about a character based DLC? It would be fitting for it to be in the "Character and Romance" board.

Just a thought.

Stop giving false hopes and unstick this thread.

You can fix a screwed character in just one DLC. If the writers screwd them in the main game a DLC is a chance to screw them more.

I have 20 saves (alone for 1 of my Sheps)) based off of LI(Ash,Liara, Tali Miranda & Jack) x collectors base destroyed/saved x council alive/dead. Miri is arguably (tied with ash me1) my fav in the trilogy. Because I knew bw was going to shelf them Jack n Miri, I have finished both Ash and Liara save and currently workin on Tali. so a week b4 EC I snuck in a Miri playthrough which around the time EC came out I was just about to start priority earth. Wow talk about a letdown/missed opportunity/ no closure. Both Jack and Miri at the minimum should be avaible for TIM ( especially if thier ur sheps LI. both have unique prosective about cerberus too )1 was kidnapped and chased by cerberus and the other worked for arguably cerberus 's biggest project; project lazarus).

No evac scene for Jack/Miri = let down
Not Joining Shep for TIM base assualt ( at minimum) = huge missed oppurtunity
And having no monument scene (Like the other ME1 LI's do) at the end of destroy= no closure
All in all quite a disappointment= EC

Even if I never have and never intend to romance either Miranda or Jack I still liked them as friends/rivals/squadmates for my Shep.

I support DLC for ALL ME2 characters who got shafted....which was all of them :(

Maybe we'll be heard, and if not then, well it's back to the Marauder Shields comics for me.

ME2 had too many characters and too many chances for all of them to die; they couldn't handle any of them equitably except for Garrus and Tali. However, I don't see anything wrong with this idea, and so will support it.

"too many" characters implies that they were too many since ME2, but that's not  the case. I never felt the Normandy over-crowded during ME2, every character had its place and was perfectly fit in. Putting them aside because they could die during the Suicide Mission it's like betraying the very concept behind Mass Effect, the choice dynamic that BioWare is so proud of. They said more than once that they created content that only 2% of the players would have seen, because that's what makes them unique... without it they're just another game company like many other.

I can see why they couldn't handle 12 + 6 characters in ME3, but they don't even tried to apply their own concept about "temporary squadmates" that were announced early in the development of ME3. They just had the ME2 characters (some of the better-developed characters in the gaming world) popping up now and then, while you're stuck with those 6 squadmates and forced with Liara or Tali for like 78% of the game.

That's not fair, and an anlternative to this kind of behavior was absolutely feasible.

Now, I can give them the benefit of doubt, but I'm not going to accept the fact that ME2 characters had to be put aside simply because they were 12 and they could die. It's not the way BioWare work.

And finally the true purpose of this thread has been revealed: it was actually a contest for naming the Romance DLC, which Joe1962 has just officially won.

I support this idea. ME3 felt limited after ME2, with only six squadmates plus Javik. Bioware's promise of increased character development in return for fewer characters was disproportionately spent on Liara and Tali. It would be nice to have some exclusive missions with other characters, especially the underrepresented ME2 cast.
