How about a romance DLC, that way, you get something special with the character you romanced, so those who romanced Jacob, thane, etc, can get something special before certain spoilers happened.
It's another idea that has come up a time or two

I think that it could happen. If enough people want it maybe, or maybe not. It's hard to say.Nightwriter wrote...
Thread stickied. Surprising. Puzzling. Conclusions to be drawn from this? Implication, changed prospects, scrutiny, think, think. Must assess hope vs skepticism, assumptions dangerous, heart vulnerable, must armor. Suspicious of repetition of "cure Thane movement" -- created impression of dev receptiveness, instigated false hope. Result: unrealized goals, disappointment, expectations misled. Learn from history. Thread likely stickied by community manager, direct dev involvement unlikely. Jack/Miranda DLC improbable, fiscally undesirable, everyone says so, yes, yes. Mustn't trust. Mustn't trust. Inconclusive, inconclusive.

Well, scepticism is understandable and will exist until proven otherwise

Never underestimate a ****-storms ability to kill future sales. ALL ME DLC may not be profitable from now on. Can't judge anything as being profitable until they actually release another paid DLC and thus give an oppurtunity to gauge where the fans stand on buying more stuff via blind faith. I think those days are over.

Unfortunately you may be right. I wonder how many people stopped caring after the whoel ednign fiasco. EVen if teh EC satiated the largest flames...how many just simply moved on; tired after all these months. We'll see. I hope any me 2 char dlc isn't axed because of the ending but I can see how the above quote can happen. I hope I am wrong. I'd really like to see this DLC.

Guess why BioWare cared about Liara in the first place: Fans. A lot.
Liara has the biggest fanbase from all characters and that's why she is not kill-able, has a crucial plot in every game and therefore the most content. Storytelling crime right there, but those who care are a minority anyway.
Miranda and Jack are not in the upper ranks of fans and that's why they are side-lined. Only thing we can hope for: Miranda is the most famous of all the side-lined. She has a slim possiblity to get content. Jack is then an addition who could hype up Miranda to something that everyone enjoys: That catfight and unusual teamup makes it more than a character-focussed DLC.
So... I would call my current state cautiously optimistic.

Actually, in ME2's day, it seemed like they cared about nothing but those characters.Skullheart wrote...
It won't happen because bw never cared about those characters.
They hyped them up pre-release, created individual trailers for them, gave them personality labels, devoted an entire game to their personal stories almost to the exclusion of the actual plot, seemed excited about introducing them to us, showed us concept art books detailing the thought processes behind their aesthetic designs, put them in commercials, and told us how much we'd love them and how tempted we would be to abandon our old romances in favor of the new ones.
If anything is to be learned from this, it is not that BioWare never cared. It is that they are fickle.
With each new release, their focus shifts and the past is neglected. When ME2 came out, a lot of ME1 was ignored. Back then, it was the ME1 characters that fans accused BioWare of having never cared about. Now the situation has been reversed. But unlike the situation with the ME1 cast, it is too late to fix the problem.
