That was some of the strongest character stuff across all three games, so to lose it all in ME3 was ... disappointing.
I know that there are people who are bigger fans of one character than the other, but so many of the comments in this thread have acknowledged the interesting shared chemistry, as well as the 'opposite sides of the Cerberus coin' that they represent. And that is awesome.

The two of them were my two favorite characters in the WHOLE series... imagine my disappointment!

I noticed last night and thought it was a mistake but it's still on now so... glimmer of hope?

Also, hoping that this topic being stickied actually means something. Not sure why it would be stickied if it didn't...unless this is some mean prank.

But since, as I mentioned above, DLCs about them are very difficult, I thought Miranda could be a major player on the Retake Omega DLC.
Miranda stated that she hates Omega and has no loyalty to Aria, so depending on the timeline it could be because she needs information to find her father should the DLC take place before Sanctuary (because seriously, Oriana is the only person that motivates Miri to do anything) or like someone else mentioned on another post, if it happens after Horizon a good reason would be Miranda was taking down Cerberus' facilities and since it looks like a lot of Cerberus forces are stationed at Omega there would be a good place to diminish their forces.
Miranda could appeal that Cerberus killed Aria's daughter so that Aria would help her and that right now Miranda was her best hope to get Omega back thanks to her knowledge of Cerberus.

Well, there is no amusement to be found in simply denying someone what they wish.Wikal wrote...

First, you must make them believe they are going to get it. Only then do you destroy all hope.

I would definitely be in favor of this. Both Jack and Miranda had roles that should've tied in more with the Cerberus plot.
Exactly. Jack could find out about what Miranda was doing and they both called a (temporary) truce to stop the Cerberus forces there. A squad with Aria, Miranda and Jack... All the banter possibilities are hard too pass.

I definitely support this. Both deserved so much more screen-time than they were given.

Since the end of ME2, I'd hoped that Jack and Miranda would eventually establish a mutual understanding bordering on some kind of 'friendship'.
Not friendship, per se, but the kind of relationship where they tolerate and like one another without quitting the bickering and occasional catfight - or ever admitting that they feel that way.

I'm first and foremost a fan of Miranda but Jack needs some love too. Quite a few people were very disappointed by the lack of attention and the minimalised role these two characters has suffered from in ME3. For example Miranda's role in the Cerberus arc is barely existent.

If not everyone buys the DLC, Bioware doesn't make money. You see how this is an issue?
Honestly, it's Bioware's own fault. It was a pretty bad idea to make every single character in ME2 killable. Now all the ME2 characters get shafted, because Bioware can't risk giving them a major role in ME3.
Edit: This is also why Liara gets "special treatment" in ME3. Because she's the only character that can't be killed throughout all 3 games. If Bioware hadn't made every character in ME2 killable, they would've gotten bigger roles, and Liara wouldn't be shoved into your face so much.

Everybody is aware of this. The way a Cerberus DLC might work would be like many missions in ME3 itself, where there are variations depending on who is present.

It's not likely, since both characters can die in ME2. If everyone doesn't have access to these characters, not everyone will buy the DLC.

We've talked about this and it's not really an issue. If they die on the import game, they can be replaced by other characters. In Dragon Age Awakening if the Warden died in Origins a new character will be the protagonist and I don't see why that can't happen in this situation.
