I discovered this issue this morning, I'm in a priority mission and during battles when I take cover and try to use a power, e.g. warp or overload shepard will start the animation to fire it off but it seems to get interrupted. Shepard goes back into cover and the power lock into recharge or doesnt fire at all.
To actually use a power I have to aim then bring up the menu and select the power I want to use, this has gotten me killed quite a few times and is rather frustrating. 

Is it a bug? I didnt have this problem in the earlier parts of the game, it just cropped up today.
