Bear in mind I mostly play with randoms, but it seems like whenever the delivery objective comes up, everyone races to get to the pizza first. I don't understand this. You don't get any points for delivering the objective (For people who play for points), an Asari Adept shouldn't delive the pizza when there's a Vorcha with health regen that's ready and willing to do it. Why do people want to do this objective so badly?

Eh, yeah. But it just seems silly to get mad at people over the mic for it or continuously friendly fire the guy carrying it.

Lulz if the pizza comes up and im playin asari or something else squishy i just keep the delivery zone clear

Sure there are more viable characters to carry the objective, but this is less important on any difficulty lower than gold. Just be happy people want to actually do the objective. I usually go for the objective no matter what class I play because sometimes people don't do it. If I notice a teammate going after it and they are closer, I will happily clear a path for them.

I run for it so that I can pick it up if nobody else does or guard the person who picks it up. If people are actually getting mad on mic about someone else getting it they are probably idiots.

I just ignore the objective and get kills. The other 3 people can handle it.

My worst Pizza-related situation was when I was playing a Drell Adept with Adrenaline Mod III (And fitness specced for movement speed), I beat a human engineer to the pizza and he flat out quit right there, sent me a rage message, and gave me a negative review for trashtalking. I don't have a mic.
I guess I should be glad everyone is so eager to do it, I just hate when they get mad because someone else is carrying it.

Racing for the pizza doesn't bother me to much, it's the not getting in the circle during a hack.

When I'm playing in a PUGs, I always go for the pizza in any class. It's really irritating and annoying when a noob or an idiot pick up the pizza and don't deliver it asap.

Same as you mate!

Besides, with people going there together, it can also mean everyone can watch each other's back as the delivery man goes on.

Might not be a hot idea all the time though, depending on situation at that point of time.

Be happy people are actually doing the objective. Now if there was just some way to get people to do the hacking objective, that one seems to be the worst. Just at lunch today I was playing with some idiot, who was an infiltrator, who was running around outside the hack zone, but never very far from it. There is no reason you can't be sniping from in the hack zone. I'm sitting there with my vanguard not really doing anything, don't you think I'd rather be out there killing stuff?

I try to get to it first because sometimes I see people stop or go the wrong way while holding it.

I always run for the pizza, but only to get the time bonus, if someone else grabs it I watch thier back all the way to the extraction point.

Sometimes I'll run for the pizza, other times I'll run to the delivery zone, to clear the approach and prevent spawns there.

I've been trolled by to many randoms lagging out or leaving while carrying the package or trying to rack up the score by not delivering it till last seconds and dying. I'll rush the package every chance I get.

You wanna complete objectives asap (esp on wave 10). Everyone should be going for the pizza either to pick it up or defend / clear the path with missiles when necessary. Killing enemies is pointless before completing the objective anyway.

I always race to it because I never assume that my squad is going to do what needs to be done. I'm glad I'm often wrong and that they do want to help but more than a few times I've had to handle the objectives while everyone runs about.

Speed is more important than durability for the delivery objective. Both in terms is the delivering character and the speed with which you can start the objective.
