I prefer to walk ahead and clear the path/cover the pizzaboy/girl's ass as they make their way to the LZ.
Carrying that pizza is high risk, you'd think those Cerberus guys got served nothing else...

Otherwise I run the risk of someone else saying; "Hey. You cleared that path tyvm, but I wonder if those Banshees want pizza."

I was in a PUG once where the guy was trying to take it across the elevated portion when he died. I grabbed the pizza after reviving him, because I didn't want him dying again and risk having the pizza fall through the floor.
He seemed pretty upset by this.

Bear in mind I mostly play with randoms, but it seems like whenever the delivery objective comes up, everyone races to get to the pizza first. I don't understand this. You don't get any points for delivering the objective (For people who play for points), an Asari Adept shouldn't delive the pizza when there's a Vorcha with health regen that's ready and willing to do it. Why do people want to do this objective so badly?
The problem with randoms is that you don't know the guys, so you wont trust the mission to them. I hate when I could do something and someone go there and do it, but I get why, and I stay together, cleaning the path. Anyway, I prefer the wrong guy doing the objective than a team that don't do the objective at all...

From an MMORPG player's perspective, that's a tank's job. If there is a Krogan Sentinel in the group, why should a Drell Adept do it? The only reason this reasoning might not work is if the Sentinel has no idea what he's doing. And of course some people might argue that a geth has the movement speed to do it faster. I normally race to do it if I see that the pug has no idea what it's doing. In a good group this argument is null and void.
I wanted to do it because I had a 45% movement speed bonus. Also I don't like randoms doing because I've had quite a few of them get disconnected taking the delicous pizza with them.

It's amazing how few players realize how important that is.Richter Harken wrote...
Sometimes I'll run for the pizza, other times I'll run to the delivery zone, to clear the approach and prevent spawns there.
