I don't understand why people hate Javik. Care to explain?

He lacks a certain charm. He's very well written but he's not huggable and squeezble.

Don't see how that can be an issue. That's basically exactly why I like him. He's not bunnies and sunshine or all "halp, halp me", nor is he the "seen it all resident badass" like you have them.
He's literally the fish out of the pond, the outsider. The fact that he is grumpy too makes him just the more likeable to me (I somehow like grumpy people as long s they have a reason to be grumpy).

Plus the fact that everytime I see him, I can literally hear him say "*pfft* Primitives". He just makes me smile. Posted Image

I guess this would be fairly nice. Like what was said, I'd prefer some new, good sniper rifles and assault rifles above new characters. And the particle rifle isn't too great, would be unused in multiplayer. I've tested it in SP... It leaves you exposed too long and runs out of ammo in about 5 seconds.

And lore in multiplayer just makes me laugh. Tell me, does a Krogan, Geth, Salarian, and Vorcha fighting Cerberus on the Palaven map make any sense, at all, in terms of lore? I don't quite find it does.

How about an Asari super assassin who wants revenge against Cerberus and has a cool snake nickname... like "black-mamba"
:P

I tried bringing this up to a friend regarding Javik: It's the not-so-distant future. Cloning exists. We've seen it on Noveria and again when we got Grunt. Could we not simply use that to help restore the Protheans? Just saying.

Too Tarantino.

Maybe something like "the Blues Sister". You know, because she's blue, is blue and female.

his wouldnt happen. Not like you say anyways. biware doesnt make demands that make it so dlc characters can be released.

If anything, this mission will come after the characters have been released.

This doesn't actually break lore like everyone thinks it does. If you will remember, in the first real conversation with Javik, he states that when he and his group went into stasis, the Prothean empire had splintered, and one group didn't know what the other was doing. While he had heard of the crucible, he didn't even know if it was real. Why can't there be a group of Protheans who put themselves into stasis like our 'last prothean' did with his group? Just because someone thinks something is true enough that he proclaims it as fact to everyone, doesn't make it true. Hasn't your time on the internet taught you anything? Just because Javik thinks he is the last Prothean doesn't mean he is. He can't prove that he is and neither can anyone else, after all, before he was discovered the Protheans were absolutely 100% dead, and now we know they aren't.

But, Javik has personality issues. Who would want to clone him? The Protheans were worse than the Krogans. So, I doubt the Salarians would want to clone him. Cerberus wouldn't want to clone a rival species. The alliance wouldn't want to clone super Batarians. The Batarians wouldn't want to compete against a bigger head. One Prothean is enough for research purposes so the Asari are not interested. Who is left? Maelon looking for a job? Maelon!

Wouldn't mind having Protheans but I doubt it would happen. Atleast you give a credible reason i.e. not space magic, but the hate that would pour in makes the chances very low. If it does happen I would give it a min before nerfers say dark channel is op.

All the hate? From who? From the 10% of anti-protheans? They can cry and scream all they want but the polls are crystal clear. 90% want protheans.

Yes, the Salarians would clone him without even a second thought. They are just too scientifically ambitious to pass on the oppurtunity. Just look at their recent experiment with trying to secretly uplift the Yahg. They are too damn curious for their own good.

Javik has found a memory shard showing where a fallout planet full of Protheans still slumber in stasis, and he orders the awakening of all existing Protheans to take vengeance on the Reaper forces.

Your duty this weekend is to keep Cerberus, Geth, and Reaper forces at bay while their stasis wears off.
If succeeded, Protheans will join the fight.

(This can also include a sp mission where Javik finds this shard)(for the sp complainers)

Only real problem is not all of us bought From the Ashes, which would be kinda necessary for your plot setup as described.  Other than that I don't see any real problem except the question of what happens if we're too busy fighting on other maps and don't succeed?

hopes for Protheans in MP aside, I'm looking purely at the feasibility of the idea.  They'd almost have to guarantee success as you're talking about a lot of work to be placed on an 'if you succeed'  since they'll have to do the work first in all likelyhood.

As far as PRotheans in general, I say why the hell not?  We've already got Ex-Cerb forces joining that we never saw or fought against, so sure, why not?

Not everyone got Geth/Quarian/Batarian support either. The lore of MP is based on the best possible SP scenario, which would include getting Javik.
