even if another ME game is made, I won't be preordering it, only getting it out of the preowned bin

Funny...for me its the other way around after Extended Cut.  I will buy Day 1 the next ME game , even if it is an Elcor dance game.

Because of the endings?

Not voting, because there is no "None" option.

But if they do make another game, I hope it's a sequel. It'll be interesting to see how they're going to make the ending choice inconsequential to the future of the setting.

Does this happen often in the Gaming industry? The fans almost begging for a sequel? It's a serious question because i don't give a damn about any game so much to literally beg them to take my money via a sequel(Or a new trilogy :P in this case).

If u want to vote for none then don't vote at all. The poll is asking IF there was another game what would u want it to be

I want a ME sequel. Nothing based on a time where the reapers are still a threat, it'd be boring since we know what happens to them.

In the ME sequel I'd prefer we play a character we have to make a name for. Not like Shepard who was a commander already. I also want more freedom of choice to be evil and betray different factions like KoTOR series.

I chose sequel, but I just want it to be post-crucible decision, with widely differing universes

Why are people so intent on a new ME game? some games are better left to be a trilogy.

I think if BioWare were to make a new ME game, what is stopping them from butchering it like they did ME3?

If they make a new ME game it will only degress the quality of a ME title and in my opinion should stop with ME3. BioWare needs to take a new approach and make somthing fresh and new. Some games just need to end and ME3 is where it should end.

It's almost like they did with the first 4 Superman movies with Christopher Reeve. First one was outstanding, second better than the first, 3rd not as good as 2 but stacked up with the first, Superman 4 on the other hand was like a badly written cartoon with very lame acting and story development. That is how I predict an new ME game would be like. A horrible rush job. and you would have enraged fans all over again. I want BioWare to progress and build as a developer not the other way. Only way for them to grow is to create something fresh and new.

I'm overjoyed to so far see 'sequel' winning in a landslide. I fully expected it to be losing out to 'prequel' and 'MMO,' both of which are bad ideas in my opinion.

You are comparing a hollywood films to a rich sci fi universe. ME has potential to be as big Star Wars why let it die? Fans like me want to see more stories based in the ME universe.

You ought to provide an option for "nothing in this setting", because this creates the false impression EVERYONE wants more.

Prequel: story cannot grow effectively because it has to end up at a set destination
Sequel: the setting is too variant based on ME3 endings making it either impossible or forcing 'canon', which many players will resent
MMO: Requires a perpetual world which automatically means YOUR CHOICES DON'T MATTER, the same thing that made people hate ME3 endings
Spin-off: Probably the most tolerable for me of all the options, but it would just feel like recycled setting to save the work of creating something new
During: again, limited by having a set destination, but now it also needs to be more restricted still (else Shep would hear about what is happening, that sort of thing).

Sometimes series need to be put to rest if they've had a good run. Sometimes good things should end while people still like them instead of waiting for people to resent the Cash Cow status as they get into their eighth instalment. Perhaps it would be best if the team that worked on Mass Effect was now able to work on something fresh and new.
It was made clear that one of the reasons the ME team could be so free with the endings of ME3 and add.. that... variance (at least in theory) was that they didn't have to then group it all together again later.

I'd really like to see sequels and/or an MMO but the ME3 ending sort of makes that really, really hard. I guess since the ME universe draws heavily on biblical references they could have a second coming of Shepard. 10,000 years into the universe's future the galaxy once again needs a hero and somehow Shepard manages to reform themselves into a physical form after the control/synthesis endings and just gets bought back to life through science if you picked the destroy ending (you're body was cryogenically frozen or something). That far into the future they could still make reference to the ending you chose in ME3 but at the same time have a universe that doesn't invalidate any of the endings or other choices you made in the games.

Sequel, they have realy good characters like Garrus,Liara,Tali and more so it would just be a waste to not include them, Id be happy with any realy though as long as it kept some of the characters,
