Akruze n Guash - try playing at different times of your day. I found that I have better luck completing missions between 10PM and 8AM my time. You might find a window that works best for you. Not actually a fix, but it eases the frustration quite a bit.

But after the that has happened, it works fine. Unless the host dc's or my own internet dc's. Other then that no probs with MP.

Internet, as a whole, is always available, sometimes with the EA/Origin showing as being up immediately after it kicks me.
For the record, Firewall is down, Plug in Play is active and doing a clean boot doesn't help the matter.

I've had this problem so many times when i have joined games, usually on wave 2 i get the disconnect message and have to leave (i've even kept a record of the times, date and wave... yeah yeah i'm weird LOL), four times on the 28th June alone and all at various times of the day. In the end i tried being the leader and creating the game myself which worked well for the most part until yesterday afternoon then i got disconnected again. i know it isn't my internet as i usually team up with my husband and he doesn't get disconnected when i do... it is becoming disheartening and makes taking part in any weekend operations a complete pain in the bum. It seems that this problem started around the time the latest patch was installed but i am not sure whether this is a factor.
Likewise; I rarely had an issue before the EC Patch.

First I ran Spybot S&D and cleared out two bots. I doubt they had anything to do with it but *shrug*.
Secondly I went into my Internet Browser History and discovered that, for some reason, the Temporary File's cache had expanded beyond its limit to almost 10gigs. I went ahead and reset the limit and deleted all TEFs and Cookies. No virus was ever detected, so I don't know what caused the inflation, but I have not disconnected since.
Just figured I'd share.

Auralis, i tried the internet browser and cleared temp files and cookies and so far it has worked just fine for me (touch wood). Thank you very much.
More than welcome. Day two and more hours added, with no disconnects; one huuuuge lag spike, but that's it. That could have been caused by numerous things, anyway.
Anyway, a bump so that anyone else can give it a shot who may be getting a large number of "EA Server" type disconnects: simply delete your cookies and Temp. Internet Files. For some, at least, that seems to remove the problem.
