Ok, I'm going to say this once, and I will add it to the first post.

1. People that are posting in this forum, need to read the first post.   If you can't read be bothered to read the first post, than don't bother posting.

2. If it is evident fhat a poster has not read the first post, please direct them to it and do not engage them further.

3. This thread is not the appropriate place to debate what changes to LIs are needed.  That is already being done in the appropriate character threads.  It does not need re-hashing here.

4. Do not feed the trolls.

It is becoming evident that certain people are coming to the wrong conclusion from the title of this thread.

While the intent of the title is obvious to most posters here, I am considering revising the title with the goal of it being a bit more....explanatory.

Would "Request for expanded romance options in new story DLC" cover it?

Doing the EC was seen by many as making a correction to some problematic elements to the lore, such as the relays and citadel not going 'BLAM' quite as much as it used to. Romance character stuff isn't as much of an issue for a lot of people, so it probably won't seem comporable to the whole EC thing. I don't know... something like "ME2 squad missions/romance DLC"... I think it should be clear that the DLC would include missions for the squad members and not only the romances, that's what puzzles most of the people who disagrees with it.

I'm trying to integrate these ideas together and still have a clear concise title, which is difficult, because we are asking for several different things.

Sounds good to me

Although I have to admit that I have a love/hate thing for having the 'romance' word alone with the DLC. It's the main thing about the request so it has to be there but it could also lead to the confusion that the DLC is only going to be about that and that people who don't want more romances wouldn't enjoy it... but it also just a request, not the final title of the DLC  xD

It's your call, if you put that I will approve

I put the word 'romance' in the last part since there seemed to be people who are alergic upon that word here, LoL..

The biggest gripe I have about this thread is that most people here want a romance DLC for the sake of sex scenes, even if that isn't the OP's intention. You really have to ask for the real motivation of people wanting this DLC. Do they really want more interactions and dialogue, or do they just want to have a good time with their virtual lovers? The title of the thread seems to really appeal to people in the latter category.

While most people here are also in support of more non-romanced character treatment, I don't want to mis-characterize what they want simply to appease the folks that are determined to not read the first post/take things the wrong way.

Our emphasis is on encouraging BW to improve the treatment of ME3 romances (especially ME2s), through fixes/improvements, additional content, side missions, conversation options, etc. Some of these things would still be available even if not romanced (side missions, some convo options, etc).


I could also do something like...

1. ME3 Romance/Character DLC: Petition for Improvements, Side Missions, and More Content

or

2. ME3 Romance-Related DLC: Petition for Improvements, Side Missions, and More Content

or

3. Better ME3 Romances: Petition for Character, Convo, Quest, and Content-Driven DLC

Most people do want the romantic scenes with their LI to all be on the same level (Kaidan/Ashely/Liara quality), but the vast majority of comments here revolve around improved conversations, improved character handling, side missions, and story-driven content.

You can verify this by looking at the list of suggestions on the first post.

Yeah, you're definetly right that you can't remove the Romace word because it's not just the main point of the request but it's also why everybody has approved it for. For me option #1 is great (ME3 Romance/Character DLC: Petition for Improvements, Side Missions, and More Content). Adding the Character word opens the concept a little more than the other ones, but again, this is just a request and I think all the options are valid. After all the thread and the polls have had this title since the begining and you've got over 1000 votes on some of them, so people like it ^^

I like the sound of all of that except the notion that the driving force behind it would be being able to have more slow piano moments with your LI. I think whether they're your LI or not shouldn't really be relevant.

During my main playtrough I was a Liaramancer.
Leave me alone I'm a sucker for beautiful blue eyes .

But I would love to see improvements for all the LI's since as everyone knows the ME2 squaddies got the finger in ME3. Expanded dialouges and LI specific missions would definitely be on my to-Buy list of they came out.
