I see it difficult nonetheless but not impossible that Bioware would do something like this(we already have the EC, which was kind of a surprise for some people).
But considering the direction the series went with ME3 where the war, existentialism and filosophy were the main themes maybe bioware would consider a romance dlc somewhat like a minor, juvenil thing to do.

The biggest gripe I have about this thread is that most people here want a romance DLC for the sake of sex scenes,.
I have some news for you. there is this thing called the World Wide Web and it is full of sex.
There are many ways to see 3D game toons sex up anyone or anything. Ask your parents to take "safe mode" out of your net and google it sometime.
If anyone here wanted pr0n, they would not be here. What we want is what Bioware added in their ME2 and ME1 game. Enriching and well written engaging stories that compell you to explore the strory behind your squadmates and the possible interactions with them. One of the ways to interact is romancing the character. We didn't invent it. Bioware added it to their games. We loved the content, be it brothers in arms or LI. We want more time and more interaction with the previous games characters. We felt they were short changed during ME3. Interaction can mean friendship or romance. we want more of both. And of course some action packed shooting missions too.

EDIT:also,if the player romanced for example Liara or Kaidan on all 3 games,it should be a unique scene or dialogue.That would be freaking awesome.

Realistically, this would be a massive undertaking. Like, much more massive than Lair of the Shadow Broker. I suspect it would need to cost $20 at least.

I like the sound of all of that except the notion that the driving force behind it would be being able to have more slow piano moments with your LI. I think whether they're your LI or not shouldn't really be relevant.
I'll put forward a very basic and rough outline to better show the kind of thing I mean.
I'd also assume these to run in a very "start and no stop 'til it's done" manner, similar to the LotSB to keep plot issues to a minimum.
________________________________________________________________________________________
From the earlier example of a Cerberus miniarc:
Most suited: Jack or Miranda
Intro: Email message after installing:
IF: no squadmates or choose not to use them - GO TO plot planet.
IF: squadmates alive and choose to use them
THEN: go to Citadel to collect relevant squadmates.
Char intro:
IF: both at Citadel added scene of Jack and Miranda quietly just... staring at each other. No dialogue needed.
OPTIONAL: dialogue choice for one or both to go on mission if both Jack and Miranda present. Player choice.
<character dialogue>
<LI only dialogue: short addition>
GO TO: Plot planet
First minichapter:
On mission start on planet
<IF: previous LI and New LI present then added comments scene.>
<events and dialogue>
<added dialogue if Jack/Miranda present>
Next minichapter:
<events and dialogue>
<added dialogue if Jack/Miranda present>
<possible LI only dialogue>
Last minichapter:
<events and dialogue>
<added dialogue if Jack/Miranda present>
<end of mission>
<LI only scene>
<wrapup scene>

I just really hope bioware are listening. I only have a sliver of the faith i used to have in bioware, but this dlc would at least partially restore it.
In fact, i'm not too bothered about actual missions, but the chance to bring them on board the normandy and have a date would be awesome.
Good Luck guys!

Like it or not EC prooved that Bioware will take steps under community pressure. I'd much rather ask than demand But they did say that chartacter interractions will be more meaningful

<Giggle/snort> I swear to you 'U'....my husband and yours are probably cut from a similar mold. He is ready to send in a video request to BW to make this happen, just so he doesn't have to be the "sounding board" for all my DLC ideas anymore........ "No, no honey....last one, I promise. You'll love it so much, YOU are gonna want to play it. So what if it is an RPG and not a 'driving simulator'......you'll love it, dammit! Now shuddup and listen!"

It might, if it was released as all one DLC. Some people have suggested breaking it up into a few DLCs.
For example, there are 15 LIs besides Allers (does anyone care about her, lol?), so BW could release 5 DLCs (involving new content/side missions/romance improvements) each with 3 characters, or 3 DLCs, each with 5 characters included.
That way people could also pick and choose a bit more which squadmates/LIs they find worth it enough to pay for.
If BW would even run with some of our suggestions, I'm sure they'd release it in whichever way they think appeals most to the playerbase, and is most profitable, be it 1, 2 or more DLCs. It's still good to come up with suggestions, though.

To be clear, we are most certainly asking and not demanding. Demanding is not a good way to get what you want.

I think this is a great idea XD was kinda hoping that since my Shep's being loyal to Kaidan from ME1 to 3, he'd pop the question to marry her, LoL (No fair, Shep gets to have that kind of convo with Liara in LoTSB, so yeah, would want that one too =p )
So here's an example:
ME1 : Ashley - ME2 none - ME3 Ashley, or
ME1 : none - ME2 Miranda - ME3 Miranda
Should get the 'true love' achievement and then unlock that special convo or something.
And another scene request: after the fall of Thesia, I think it will be a swell idea to have the LI's come up to Shep and give him/her an (optional) hug (unless if you're LI is Liara, then it is Shep that's offering the hug).
Well that's just my idea for now..
I hope my long post made sense, typing with a phone here >.<'

I don't want turns ME to telenovela...
It's same as with Titanik...
////
BW must to focus on future ME4... there will be another intensive romance/reunion and much more emotional stuff.

As far as the other LIs are concerned, I'm all for the idea of romance DLCs too. Preferably they should be independent, one DLC for each character. As a result, the price for each could be lower, and the players could choose which one they want to purchase. Though if I had to decide at BioWare, I would probably combine the new romantic content with a general mission that's of interest even to those players who are not interested in the respective romance.
I wouldn't expect any such DLCs to be released though. Right now I wonder if there will be any further single player DLCs for ME 3 at all.
