- Yes, even a single slide or a short video showing a reunion scene after the current ending (breath scene in my case) would make the game nearly perfect for me, because that would be real closure and not imagination or Twitter lore.
- Yes, I would be willing to pay for it.
Still... I have hope some future DLC will add slides or simple short video clips (no voice required) to the ending, so my next and final playthrough with all DLCs out will leave the impression of a finished game/trilogy for me.
Neither the original nor the EC ending could achieve that.
After all, a great trilogy should have a great ending by itself and not by imagination, Twitter/BSN-lore or watching awesome fanart after the credits fade out:
Shepard alive (insert your LI):
Shepard dead (insert your LI):

That would be enough for me, but I would be willing to take and pay for more.

~Restore dialouge lines for Ash that were either bugged and didn't show up or that were cut from the game.
~Fix the date scene dialouge between Shepard and Ash. As it currently stands, it seems like something is missing. Shepard jumps to saying "remind me," even though Ash says nothing to set him up for that line. Remind him of what???
~Expand the Citadel date. This could be something as simple as Shepard and Ash walking around the Presidium commons and window shoping. I think this could be handled similar to the way you look at things in Jack's cell in ME2. Walk around with Ash, find an area of interest, and click on it to get dialouge.
~However, the expanded date scene would be even better if we get to control how Shepard responds. For example: Ash sees an ad for a band, says, "Oh, I like them," and we have the ability to select whether Shepard likes them or not.
~If rekindling a ME1 relationship, give them the option of moving in to your cabin someitme after the date scene. Or at least the ability to invite them up to your cabin, like we had with ME2 LIs after the main game.
~Expand/fix the Thane romance. More things to do with Thane would be nice for FemSheps who romanced him. Maybe even a date, similar to what I've suggested with Ashley. For that matter, something like that would be nice for Jack, as well - maybe after the meeting at Purgatory.
~Thane doesn't have to survive, but at least make Shepard a little more emotional when he dies. From what I understand, it doesn't seem like she really cares about the relationship. More Thane content in general would be appreciated, such as new dialouge when you return to the Citadel after talking to him for the first time, maybe even Thane/VS interaction of some sort that you can overhear.

I like the gifs. Liara looks a bit stiff, but the message is clear - something like that would work quite well.
@ DWH1982
Full support here.
I know, we Ash-fans can be quite pesky sometimes, but really - out of the "primary romances" (read: squadmates on board of the Normandy in ME3, no offense towards ME2!LIs), she got the worst job. The romance itself is okay, but there's no content outside that romance while other characters got plenty of stuff to work with. Kaidan is an exception, he shares the VS-treatment, 'though he still got a bit better in that field.
That's why I -really- wish for a VS-centered DLC. I really want more VS stuff, a mission or two, covering their past (the two years). The mission(s) should be available if you recruit the VS back, the dialogues should be a bit different if the VS is romanced or not and if your Shepard remained faithful or not. It's just like that.
Yeah, pesky guys are pesky. I'm sorry. I know Miri, Jacob, Thane and Jack need more content too - and even more than the VS. Of course.

But, to be realistic... I think some slides are not something the majority of people/players would pay for.On the other hand a "real" DLC improving LIs in general just seams unrealistic. Alone getting the voice actors for all possible LIs together would blow the frame of a DLC by far. (at least I think so, they want to make money with a DLC after all and that's reasonalbe)

By the way those were beautiful and yeah I'd like more stuff to be shown with our love interest liara in particular wether shepard lives or he or she dies but alas I don't think they will add any dlc to imrpove upon this

Thane: Going to the Hanar homeworld to look for a cure to Keprals Syndrome, possibly the option to prevent Thane from getting killed by Kai Leng.
Garrus: Help the Turians in Palaven, I think someone mentioned in a previous post about saving his father and sister.
Tali: Depending on the outcome of Priority Rannoch she might have a loyalty mission that'll involve regaining an embassy with the Quarians (and Geth if made a truce).
Miranda: can't think of anything except maybe a few dates on the citadel?
Jack: Helping her find out about her biological parents and could end in having an emotional reunion.
Jacob: I can't really see much happening with him, maybe additional dialogue or a YOU @#%! moment. Either way ill pay to see it just for the lulz.
Other than that I don't really have anything else to add, hope my grammar isn't too horrendous to read

There's even an option how to redeem Jacob with a Romance DLC. I really love to see that he's not cheating on fem!Shep if he was the first LI (no ME1!LI) and fem!Shep was leaning towards paragon.
But yeah, it won't happen. BW also won't give Thane fans a cure for Thane

Characters like Legion and...
Wait, Legion is only one that has no real demand to be romanced.
Actually, why not put him as well on this list?
Not many people minded EDI and Joker thing.

I'd be willing to pay for those two scenes to be attatched to the ending. How bad is that?
But yes, even a slide, with no voicework, would give the ending a more proper sendoff. It's shouldn't end with a Tweet.

Well, must say, if BW plans to give us a DLC and leaves out the VS but no one else, I'm done with that franchise. They really seem to hate the VS and the VS fandom.
Well, at least I still support a ME2!romance DLC.

Just learned, Weekes once said the VS had his/her chance and stuff in ME3 and won't see any romance related content any further. (Ashley fan thread).

This thing kinda reminds me of those days when we VS fans made a request for ME2 VS dlc not long after LoTSB was released. but we got Arrival instead
-sigh-
I'm trully thinking that BW isn't really big into this romance kind of thing (one would think a Shepard & LI reunite cut scene be available in the perfect destroy would be a no brainer, but you know how that went..)
But anyway, here's to hoping that ALL LI will get their 'fix' / extra content be it romantic or friendship. Especially for Thane and Jacob

Happy 4th to all the USA peeps here.
I agree that a sticky would be fantastic. For now, we'll just have to keep the thread acctive enough so that it stays on the first page or 2 of the forum.
Polls: Will leave these up for another few hours, as they are getting decent activity with many people having off for the holiday.
@ Geth_Gestalt25: Can you clarify the part about Tali/Embassy/Geth? I know I don't have that included yet, but I need to make sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean that the Quarians should have Tali be an Ambassador to the Geth?
I'll have some new information to share with everyone, probably in the next day or so. Nothing big, just the next step in trying to push forward on this. We'll need everyone's support

I'm pretty sure someone put up some good suggestions in the past 2-3 days, but scrolling through the thread, I can't find them. Anyone remember this post? If so, linky, b/c I forgot to put it in our list of suggestions

The polls here and on HTL served as a good litmus test to see how much support this DLC has. Results were overall, very positive.
The folks over at HTL have now put together a new survey that is more exhaustive, but will still only take about 5 minutes of your time...maybe 10 if you want to include comments
This survey is similar in part to some of the questions you have already answered but there are some important differences...read on.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
1. This survey will only be up for one week. The goal is to get as many responses as possible. 5000 would be good.
.
2. The survey was created using the suggestions in the HTL and BSN Romance DLC threads.
3. Results will be subjected to a statistical analysis and summarized in a report that will be sent to Bioware.
Click here to take the new survey and show your support for ME3 Romance DLC!!
IF YOU VOTED IN THE BSN POLLS, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO FILL OUT THIS SURVEY.
Your participation makes a difference.
***BSN Polls are now closed***

Sort of, what I had in mind was that Tali can help the Quarians (and possibly the Geth) regain their embassy to the council after they lost it from the Geth uprising, at the same time (depending on the Outcome of Prioriry Rannoch) have Tali as ambassador to the Geth. I don't know how it would be implemented but its just my opinion....do what you will with it. Hope it clarifies what I was trying to saygiftfish wrote...

We need Mass Effect 4, this is only solution, not romance DLC
ME4 is a way off in the future for most people, and some trust needs to be built back up on both sides (both sides are still feeling a little raw, I think, and probably will be for a while).
DLC that lets us gain more of a connection with the characters we spent so many hours with - whether it's in pure romance or in story based DLC with additional expanded romance dialogue (the latter actually being my personal preference of the two) - would keep people interested in the ME universe and give BioWare a solid chance to prove once again that it can do what it's traditionally considered best at: tell good character based stories.
