The folks over at HTL made the survey using alot of the suggestions posted here, and will be using a program to run statistics on it. Still alot of work, yes, but maybe not quite as much as you imagine, lol!

Awesome. 

And, just to be clear, you don't need to have romanced the LI to cast a yes/no vote for any of their questions. 

For example, I haven't romanced Jacob, but I think the DLC should rectify his discrepancy in characer between ME2 and ME3, so I'd vote on that question, regardless.  As a matter of fact, I did vote on that question!

Exactly.

Your thread is the foundation, the particular threads for each set of LIs could be used to discuss those LIs and find out what people really want.

As you can see in my thread, I do have very special requests dealing with Ashley and Kaidan - those requests, however, don't work with Liara, Garrus or Traynor, for example. And discussing special requests in the generic thread won't help anyone except cluttering this thread.

Right, and this is exactly it. Just make sure that, if a particular LI thread branches off, just remember to tell them to put general comments here. Our first step is to convince Bioware that this would be 1. feasible 2. profitable. Everything else can come afterwards.

TBH to expect to have a second free DLC would be unrealistic. There is always Youtube, if you can't afford the DLC but a paid DLC is already impossible enough. Free ? Ain't happening.

Hey guys! Haven't been on the BSN much for the last several months, but I'm one of the gals helping to put together this Romance DLC initiative. Been ghosting here to get a feel of what BSN fans have to say about the idea as we are trying to gather as much information as possible before moving ahead with our plans.

Here's the thing: The survey (which is really good, btw) has only been up for a day. In the meantime if people start branching out to all sorts of different threads to give ideas and opinions as to what they might like to see, what is feasible, what are hopes, etc... it's going to get very difficult keeping raw data compiled. This early in stages it would be really helpful if we could narrow down the areas for giving input to this main BSN thread, the HTL thread and - of course - the survey itself which is suuuuuuch a useful means of getting our Geth on and coming to a consensus.

So, a humble request/plea: At least for now, until the survey runs its course (a mere week, not long to wait!) and the data is analyzed and put together (the survey creator and I (I'll be compiling/summarizing comments, she'll be doing all the actual work, i.e. - math!)) it would be really helpful if we keep the core discussion for this idea to as centralized a location as we can manage.

And, for people that want to stick to posting in this thread, you can.  Nobody has to "branch off" that doesn't want to. 

I'll still be going through and modifying the OP daily, just like I have been, putting in all the great suggestions that people have been coming up with, both general and character specific. 

This is also where I'll be communicating what work might be going on behind the scenes, such as the current survey.

Lastly, this is the most visible thread about Romance DLC on BSN.  If you choose to branch off, try to stay as active as possible in this thread as well, so we stay visible to Bioware.  That means staying on the first page of the forum, as much as possible

While the LI additions for all the other characters would be great (I still have no idea why Bioware decided to do such a poor job on Tali's face), Bioware has already stated that it will not be adding the option to cure Thane.

I fully support this topic. Even if my Shepard only romanced Tali I wish that there will be Romance DLC for all of those people that have ME2 LI's like Jack, Thane, Jackob etc.

Continue yelling loud about this. We got EC we can get this, after all it's all about improving the game, and BW would make wise decision if they listen to all of those people that want DLC like this.

More on topic, a Legion romance? I just can't resist that! He's just adorable. Also I was shocked when I heard that Vega wasn't a romance option, with all that flirting with my femshep I just sort of assumed.

Oh, and about Vega, I totally agree.  One issue I have with that is that if FemShep is in a romance, Vega should not be fliritng with her.  FemShep's auto-dialogue should with Vega should reflect the fact that she already has a LI; she shouldn't be flirting back, ick.

Vega is cute but he is so badly written! You get no idea about what he thinks (and IF he thinks) and why he was still saluting Sheppard while he was guarding her. What he thinks about Sheppard being reinstated, the reaper, fight, nothing.. He is written as just an airhead that likes to call you Lola.

After Thane dies I go into the docking bay and Steve Cortez wants ME to console HIM about his husband that died a year ago, when my LI just died and Vega wants to flirt with me while sparring.

ME3 was so badly written in parts it is cringe worthy

LoL yeah, talk about firting in the wrong time. My man was recuperating in the hospital from serious injury and Vega had to come up to Shep's cabin for an advice that ended up with him flirting. Shep's expression wanting to toss him out after that was really fitting =P

And yeah, Vega is cute in a little brother kind of way to me, his comments are always funny. 

So here's to all of us, may we will be getting more content and interaction with our squadmates (romantic or friendship) and hoping that all LI's will be treated equaly good
