No, not Bioware.   I have had no communication with Bioware whatsoever, I want to be very clear about that, lol.

Bioware doesn't even have the results yet.  The folks that we are working with over at HTL (see my sig) are the ones managing the survey.  The person who created the survey, and is monitoring it, is the one who told me last week that the results were looking very positive.

Some romance-related news on another front:

We've had many posters in here that think that Bioware's treatment of Thane left alot of room for improvement, frrom both romancers and non-romancers alike. 

In fact, many of you voted that you thought he needed the most improvement out of all the ME2 LIs (see question #4 on the BSN survey).  Thane won by a margin of 12%.

The folks over in the Thane threads have put together a new push in the social media outlets to get the word out that players want to see a "cure option" for Thane.  If you want your voice heard, join the discussion -- see links in my sig.

With the above in mind, if you are active in some of the other romance/character-related threads, and you are trying to get the word out about a similar initiative, please feel free to make a short, concise post with appropriate links in this thread.   I certainly appreciate how tolerant the folks have been across BSN with me spamming them about the Romance DLC thread/polls/survey for the past week.  I'm happy to return the favor.

I was thinking more on the idea  I had come up with regarding Shepard calling squadmates up to the Captain's Cabin, during any/all future DLC's (assuming they release DLC's where added squadmate/LI content is added....and use, on occasion ex-squaddies from ME2). I begin to like this idea more. It could be utilized to talk to ANY (current/DLC) squaddie regardless of romance. That way, if certain DLC's don't highlight certain LI's, then it still becomes an added banter/dialogue bonus for just some old favorites (or new favorites). Again; adds to replayability AND helps to include those that don't romance, or their LI is already dead (or Kelly/Traynor/Steve/ummm Allers).......just food for thought, and because this needs a bump.

Yeah, I think it would be nice to be able to call all of them up as well. Have some casual time, not always have to speak to them in "their" spot on the ship, etc. Could be fun.

Finally got the word on the current count:

We're at almost 7300 surveys, so things have slowed down quite a bit in the past 2 days. It's not unexpected, but we were hoping to hit 10,000, so try to spread the word for one last day.

Survey will close between 3-4pm EST tomorrow. I'll be spamming the BSN forums for the final time either today or tomorrow morning!

This is kinda off on topic. I actually always wanted a Black girl as a crew member she could have replaced Jacob it would have made me happy OR make Miranda black that would have been good too. Alas just seems like ebony girls are under liked.. :/

It's a valid point, unfortunately, I dont' see BW changing Miranda or replacing Jacob at this point.  You might get lucky with some new NPCs in Leviathan, though.

Romance Ending in Destroy, doubt it.

But expanded romances on most of the LI on mission like in LOTSB, they are willing to listen.

Seriously I am FINE with Thane dying because I think it's kinda inevitable but there needs to be a better goodbye scene possibly involving tears for a Shep with him as their LI and some more interaction with him before it. And Jacob... let poor Shep at least punch him in the face >>

They must be twins. and the ME3 one is the evil one, and he allied himsefl with the Reapers to steal ME2's Jacob's memories and life, in order to sabotage the Allaince from within. He was supposed to get close to Shepard to kill him/her, but felel in love with Brynn before that happened, so he decided to change his ways and sided with humanity.

It's the only explanation that makes any sense.

@CastonFolarus -- Yep, I completely agree. Bioware went schizoid with Jacob in ME3, similar to what they did with a romanced Thane.

To be clear, I would kick "ME3 Jacob" in the you-know-where. I found "ME2 Jacob" to be a bit dry, but he was certainly a nice guy (I'd even call him a "boy scout") and would have been straight-up with FemShep, rather than doing what he did.

Don't be afraid to show a full breast. If we have to look at those... things on the Banshee's chest, we should be compensated by being able to look at Miranda's/Ashley's/Liara's, etc.

Decided after taking this survey and having to actually go to the ME3 wiki to look at the LI options for femShep that when I get to the hetero femShep playthrough where Kaiden died, and she romanced Jacob in ME2, that I'm going full assed renegade and picking Control. We will at least get something out of this -- we will rule the galaxy with an iron fist.
