Perhaps, but why would they give a sht? Considering that almost EVERYTHING they do get slandered (sometimes it seems they would have been better off just releasing ME1 with different numbers slapped on) does anyone seriously think that this would be any different?

I have issues with ME3, sure, but I can also see the amazing stuff that went into it.

Heh, in how much time do you estimate it will reach 20, 000?

I have 3ds max, so I could perhaps help out on that one.
One LI pairing per person, or multiple LI pairings?

(Feel free to PM me if you want, either here on BSN, or HTL)

As for video, I'm afraid my skills don't extend into video editing/recording sadly :/

Sending you a PM on HTL.

We would still completely love it if anyone else wanted to do something special for the 20,000 hits -- a video, 3D art, etc. So please -- or if you have an idea of your own, please share and we'll make as big a deal of this as we possibly can.

As a separate game maybe, but I'm not that keen about a DLC only about the romance. Mass Effect (to me, anyway), is about saving the galaxy from an illogical genocidal force.

So Emeraldfern may be putting together some renders so if there is anyone that has the capabilities and the time to put something together, it would be greatly appreciated. And would even benefit us in the long run.

This was my understated way of saying that there has been communication, and Bioware is keeping an eye on our inittiative.

The reason why they would "give a sh*t" is that if our survey results for 8000 people are extrapolated to the remainder of ME population--especially those who don't frequent these forums--BW will see that there is significant demand and potential for profit in this DLC.  I'll also put out there that 8000 responses is a substantial number, and not irrelevant -- especially considering we had an 84% response rate.

But then again, if Bioware isn't nterested in potential for profit or player input, then they can feel free to ignore us.   That's the beauty of it.   If we don't take the opportunity to tell them what we'd like, then we certainly don't have a snowball's chance in h*ll of getting it.

I'd refer you to the first post where we expand on what we mean by "romance DLC".  You can also take a look at player comments in the survey results posted on the blog.

And IF they would pick up on it and release something as a paid DLC, there would be an outcry that the DLC would not be free; if it would be free, there would still be issues with the DLC - not big enough, not good enough, not enough skin shown, no new weapons, no new... You get the idea.

I think its reasonable to demand a good product from any company, but the way it is done by the fanbase of the Mass Effect games (and Dragon Age games for that matter) goes way beyond normal demand.

Í have had issues with most games Bioware has released, but I don't demand that everything is fixed to my satisfaction.

This was not a demand. Not at all. This was just about saying, Hey, in future DLC, would you consider our LIs. We're not naive in what we expect in this--and possibly nothing will come from this, and that's OK. At the very least, we did explain what we liked and thought fell short in the romance interactions. Of course we'd love full on DLC that had action behind it, not just a date or sexy times, like what you think we may be looking for. That's not the idea. A dream come true obviously would be loyalty missions, like Kaidan and his biotic squad, or Garrus finding his family on Palaven, or maybe Thane gets that mission to go to Kahje (sp) to get treatment and fights some baddies along the way. Of course that's the dream, but the odds of that happening are pretty slim. We all loved our characters and just wanted to see more of them and me, I've always been a fan of BioWare's party banter--it's something they do no one else does that is absolutely fantastic.

So we'll see. Also, we're still looking for someone who would be willing and has the time time create a video of snippets from romance scenes of the game over Mas Effect music -- hopefully nothing to sad. So if you have the time, please contact me or gitfish because we'd love your help. We're trying to really celebrate getting to 20,000 hits, cause that is a big deal. ;)

Doubt Bioware will listen to this. Would mean hiring better writers and spending money or something.

They don't need to hire better writers. The romance dialogue in ME3 was great, although occasionally corny, but I'm sure we've all said something to a girl or boy and immediately thought after, "Ohhh, that was too much."

I have two words about this:  Drew Karpyshyn.

That is all.

This would be interesting. Wouldn't mind picking this up at all, especially after leviathan. Bioware mentioned something like this for DA before, so maybe they might do it here especially since its the last in the trilogy.

Mass Effect 2 was all about recruiting squadmates and help them with loyalty missions, and barely anything about the reapers, but still it's considered the best game of the trilogy. They shouldn't have forgotten how important to a story is making you feel personally involved with other characters (friends, enemies, lovers...) either through conversations or through missions. If they had had that in mind in ME3 (at least as much as in ME2) few people could have said that ME2 was better than ME3.

They have chance to fix that... let's see what they do...

We hope for good things to come out of this. We don't know what, if anything, will. But it's no harm in trying. Please keep spreading the word about it so we can try to get to those 20,000 hits. I think that would really mean something, not that 16,000 is anything to balk at. We have some young ladies creating some renders and I'm still searching for someone who might create a video, but I don't know that anyone can or will---I think it's more of an issue of time more than anything else.

Sorry but not all of it. I love the Shep/Garrus romance but I was very disappointed by the romance scene just before the Illusive Man's base. The same scene with Kaidan/Shep was much longer and better done. With Garrus... I guess they chickened out once again, like in ME2, and left it short. It almost felt like they had no idea how to handle the scene properly. Yes, Garrus isn't human but - for crying out loud - haven't they ever seen any scifi movie or tv show romances??? On top of  that, Shep sleeping alone above the covers in her undies... that was just very, very poorly done.  :pinched:

i think this should be the last dlc they make. it will give us more dialogue due to all the new missions. with the me2 dlc u usually quickly run out of dialogue.
