I completely agree with this. One of my big issues with Priority: Earth is the complete emotional disconnect. Take the final assault on the Citadel beam - there were people getting blown to pieces right, left and centre, but they were all faceless, meaningless entities that I didn't really care less about. The only two characters of consequence were the two squad-mates that you took with you, and even then, you know they get evacuated anyway.

IMO - literally EVERYONE should have been there for the final assault. The Normandy should have had a skeleton staff, and everyone else should have formed part of the Hammer team. EVERYTHING that the SWORD fleet was doing in orbit was to buy the Hammer team time, for them to get aboard the Citadel. Getting to the Citadel mean't everything, so everyone who could be spared should have been there at the end.

Absolutely.    If your characters survived the Suicide Mission at Shepherd's side, I definitely think they would've been there for the final battle against the Reapers.     Even if they weren't right there at the final assault on the Citadel Beam, they would've been somewhere nearby helping you out.   But, it would've made sense for everybody to be there for that final push, given the overall level of urgency they placed on getting to the beam.    What else could've been more important for these characters after everything they've been through?    It doesn't change the way I feel about Mass Effect 3 (Loved it!), but it would make me love it more if we could see more of those characters in person - fighting along side you.

And yes - glad you liked the idea of Mass Effect 3 Romance DLC for Valentine's Day.      That would be a love letter to the fans!   Make it happen, Bioware!  Please.  :)

That is the way I feel too.   How awesome would it be?  Awesome enough for me to pay for it.      More romantic resolutionf or our characters is something I'd be very happy to pay for.    That is the type of DLC I would definitely support.    What a happy Valentine's Day that would be!!

The Priority: Earth stuff goes back to the war assets argument. You spend the entire game building them up, but there's actually very little reflection at the end in PE.

It's a shame that it's entirely possible to get through Priority: Earth without actually losing anyone of consequence. It's also entirely possible for you to have your LI completely removed from the battlefield, and even if you take them, they get rescued anyway.

Personally, I think the sense of urgency and desperation would have been better reflected if your LI had been right there with you, and there was the realistic danger of them dying. I know that it's possible for you to actually lose people as you assault the beam at the end, but realistically, how often does that happen? I've never lost anyone there during any of my playthroughs.

It just seems like such a weird decision to have the final assault running the way it does, with the vast majority of your crew and allies in orbit aboard the Normandy, where let's face it, the only person they actually need is Joker.

Re the Valentines DLC - it's a no-brainer for me. Release it, I'd blind-buy it regardless. It doesn't need to be huge. Even a small touch like DAO's 'feastday gift' pack would be nice. The ability to do something for your LI - like get Sam that toothbrush, or get Tali a gold-plated straw (sorry emergency induction port!). Afterall, it's the little touches, and the subtleties that make all the difference.

I came up with an Idea for an Ashley redux appearance lol

Hair style: Pony-tail because I wasn't really fond of the bun

Outfits: Keep the first armor she has, an improved reskin of her ME1 Pheonix armor, a variation of Tela Vasir's Spectre Armor, possible an Alliance version of the N7 Demolisher armor

I like that armor option, @AK. But, but, but......you no lika da bun?? *wubble* I'm good with a ponytail, but I admit, I loved Ash's bun. To me, it fit her. But then that's just my .02. :D

Actually when I looked at the ME3 concept art of Ashley, it looked like they was originally gonna give her a pony-tali which would have made more sense than having her hair down

Yes! This is awesome. I would be super happy if they just did a revamped version of ME2's loyalty missions, but of course included depth to the interactions if you romanced the certain character. Love keeping up with the action and learning more about the characters along the way.
Also, call me a pervert, but gosh darn it Tali/Garrus and whoever didn't get as much screen time need better love scenes. I love the crap out of Liara, but Garrus was my go-to guy! I am legitimately curious to know what turian/quarian anatomies look like.

I wish this would happen. :(

It would make me happy. So, so extremely happy. I'd probably change my mind about the whole series.

Same. I can tolerate the endings, but the treatment of the ME2 characters is... really my biggest flaw and really ruining the game for me.

Personally I mostly got issues with how Thane was treated since he's the only one I romanced of the ME2 crew. But everyone got thrown to the side in one way or another and everyone deserves to have their favorite ME character taken care of properly...

I'm the same. The endings really don't bother me that much anymore because what sticks out the most is the treatment of the me2 squadmates.
I can't face playing me3 with any of my Thane playthroughs because it's just awful. I don't get at all how bioware can design a character and an entire race with the sole purpose in mind of creating a LI and then forget about them in the next game? Really. I need that explained to me.

Yes, it would certainly make my day.  After my anguish over the ending, I kind of thought -- how awesome would that be if we could get some more content for LIs? So a lovely young lady created a survey (it was her first), let it run for a couple of weeks, we got 8,000 responses--about things we liked, we didn't like, what we wish we would have been able to see.

My three favorites were: there should be a renegade interrupt to kick Jacob in the junk when he said he got another woman pregnant. My second is it should be the LI that comes to you after Thessia (provided it's someone that's on the ship or at least someone Shepard can call, i.e., someone from ME2) after the mission. And thirdly, that there's actually a fight over your Shepard if you had an LI in ME1 and ME2 that were different coming into 3. Yes, I know I'm goofy but those were mostly my favorites. But that is just me personally. I would ADORE more content--and I'm with some of these other folks, while I still think the ending is rubbish, a little love goes a long way. ;)

I agree with the point about your LI coming to you after the fall of Thessia - they should have. I can understand dialogue with Liara, it's Thessia, her planet, but there's also an impact on Shepard, mentally/emotionally. The scene directly after Shepard talks to the Asari Councillor, when she addresses the crew in the war room - if the LI was in the room for that conversation then they really should have come to you, as it's clear in that scene that Shepard's hurting.

I also agree with the final note there - I detest the ending(s). Yes there's Space Casper and his wonky logic, yes there's Shepard deviating from Character, and yes there are other problems, but for me, I'd forgive all that for affirmation of Shepard's survival and reunion with your LI.
