Am I the only **** who still thinks Ashley is the best. They need to round off the Ashley romance, it completely disappears after she comes onboard the Normandy until the end of the game.

Oh, and I'm not a pervert or anything, seriously, but why is Liara the only one who gets naked during her pre-battle lovemaking scene. I'm not saying that it's an issue the Bioware team should address or anything, BUT WHYYYY???

Sounds lovely but they won't do it! We getting one last piece of DLC for SP and then ME 4. Which will have about 300 pieces of paid DLC so they can milk the mindless drones they now have who loved ME3's simply shoot and run game.

7. BioWare Reaction.  This is a frequent question for us from players. We have recieved a small amount of feedback from BioWare over Twitter and via 1 or 2 of the forum moderators.  That's all, though, nothing substantial.  The feedback that we have received was positive. 

Sorry if this sounds a little harsh, but doesn't this basically mean that the whole survey kind of leads to nothing?
Well, that would be pretty sad.

Well, that would be pretty sad.

There are no guarantees. In this or anything else in life for that matter.   There were none when we put out the survey, none when 6200 people finished it, and none 7 months and thousands of hours of work later.

BioWare will do as they will, and they certainly aren't going to make a trio of players (us) privy to their plans -- even if those plans have been affected by our initiative and the thousands of players who continue to support us.

If "nothing" does come of all of this, and by nothing I mean that BW doesn't release a Romance DLC, we'll never know what (if any) role our work might have played in the implementation of romance mechanics in future games, other DLC, etc.

And, if all of our work leads to no DLC and no change in how BioWare implements anything in the future, then, so be it.  We chose to embark on this endeavor, regardless, fully aware that nothing might come of it. All 3 of us left our naivete back, oh, in....1994 maybe?

Despite the uncertainty, working on this inititative has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I don't regret it for a second. BioWare has some truly great fans out there, and being able to interact with them on this project has (for the most part) been a pleasure.

I definately do not regret working on this project. It has been an absolute blast seeing other gamers Shepards (for Screenshot Thursday....which is delayed today due to "technical" difficulties), and reading others thoughts and opinions on their favorite LI's. We do what we can, and the rest is a "crap-shoot". But the contribution amongst all that have posted here and added material to the blog, is a testimony to how much these characters mean to us. To hope then!

Well, that would be pretty sad.

Well, even if we don't get a romance DLC, this thread was still important. For many it was a glimpse of hope that something could be made about the poor quality of romance. They shared thoughts, found likewise people, had fun. Only here I understood that I want Thane to stay dead, romance or not.

First off, I agree, Ashley's the LI for my canon Shepard. So you're not alone (there's some of us lurking on the board, we just don't tend to be too vocal).

As for wanting more content, keep in mind

(1) Ashley's has something like 4 bugged dialogues. One with Liara after she rejoins the Normandy that just doesn't work at all, additional dialogue at the memorial, an additional line (about Shepard and her having rough sex) when you lock the romance in and, lastly, additional playful dialogue during the sex scene. The latter two require an ME 1 romance and faithfulness, I think.

I think someone on this site has them on his youtube page.

(2) From what I recall, the developers/writers considered stuff on the Citadel as the tradeoff for a lack of Normandy interaction. So the memorial and the hospital scenes? I'm not sure.

(3) You can kind of plan when you do your missions so that it artificially makes it seem like she has a bit more content. Examples;

- you can put off the Tuchanka platoon/bomb quests until after you get Tali, take them to those two missions and Ashley has a nice conversation with Tali afterwards (plus her/Shepard talk about Kaidan and she'll actually leave her room for once)
- If you have the Leviathan DLC, there's a few instances where if you have a flagged love interest that LI will be scripted to do things. Not Ashley-specific but at least adds something
- Save picking up Javik for after she gets back

Anyway, back to the topic. Gogo DLC

Even though I am fairly new here and did not take part in the actual project, I couldn't resist..
A famous phrase comes to my mind "We choose these things not because they are easy, but because they are hard"

If this is the last stand to show that we want a romance/character DLC, I want to do what it takes, and if we fail, we can say that we did our best!

On that note - is there any way I can contribute to the project?

Nope, not never-ending, lol.  We are running Kaidan this week, and then we still need to cover Ashley, Miranda, Jack, and Tali.

Ok, I just realized that those are all the BroShep-specific LIs.  LOL.

That was completely unintentional, just so everyone knows.  I almost never decide which LI I'm going to write about until the week of.   The columns are a lot of work, and since this is something I don't get paid for, I just choose whichever one I feel most intereted in at the moment.  And, sometimes there is a time factor -- if I'm busier I try to cover an LI that will be less work. If I have more time, then I go with one that will be more work. Anyway.....

Once we finish with the LIs, we'll move onto the surveys section on "New &  Non-fully romanceable LIs", and then probably the general comments.  After that, who knows.  The column is dedicated to deeper discussions about the survey data, so if we can find more that warrants discussion, then we will.

Additonal Romance DLC  Business:
