It seems as though romance content and R&R will abound! Even for ME2 LIs!

The real question for some folks, is will it include ALL ME2 LIs? And, will other events in the game be altered, as a result? Case in point: Jacob. If he's still going to end up dumping Shepard, then what's the point? Thane, of course, is in a similar situation.

It does look very encouraging, though, for many folks who have supported the ME3 Romance DLC initiative

Looks like it is confirmed.  Thane and Jacob fans will (likely) not be partaking in the romance festivities:

DLC  takes place after Citadel Coup according to CP

And, your welcome, Rox. I just wish it would have been able to be enjoyed by all.

Edit:  I'm going to recant a part of this post. Jacob's situation it seems may be salvagable, as far as the timing of his mission goes, etc.  Thane's situation is more complex, as he passes just after the Coup. We'll just have to sit tight.

The only thing I can think of is if Shepard gets some holo-recordings or messages (audio or email-wise) from Thane post-death that he left for her...that, or maybe a meet-up with Kolyat? I was so happy when I heard about this DLC but this revelation really has me bummed.

There is a small, small chance that Vega might be romanceable (or at least bang-able) in this DLC, I 'spose...?

Agreed, I think they could patch Thane's death, or even possibly more.

Also, for Jacob, couldn't you do his mission and then do the citadel DLC?

Regardless, a more romance-specific death scene isn't something most Thane romancers/loyalists were interested in. Appreciate the comment, though :]

Yeah but the Catalyst convo is also part of separate game files than Leviathan, and it was updated to reflect Leviathan. I'm just saying that I wouldn't rule it out.

The extended cut files override the normal ending files, so there is nothing preventing the new DLC from changing/replacing the coup files.

It's up for debate.  My impression of  CP saying "post-coup" is that it wouldn't affect any of the game files including everthing attached to the coup itself.

I would be more than happy to be wrong, though  :]
