I wanna say thank you to Giftfish and Coldwetn0se and everyone else who helped in this, and also offer everyone a hug.
Trying not to get my hopes high for Thane content just in case, but. Man, I'd be really happy if they added in any. Though, I really hope everyone gets their good share of LI and friend feels.

When I saw the DLC's press release I immediately thought of this thread.
Just coming by to say thank you guys, for me your constant efforts and feedback are directly responsible for the LI content in the upcoming DLC (and this was really the only petition thread that I wanted to see adressed).

Wow...i'm really surprised, out of all the petition type threads here in BSN, never thought this one would be the one bioware would actually follow up the most.
I was always okay with the romance aspect and squad interations of the game. Never bothered me. I was hoping more they would fix up the priority earth mission. But it looks like its not mean't to be.
Well... good on you guys, your voice was heard. Looks like biowarw will make alot of people happy

Hey giftfish, I just want to say a big 'thank you' for starting this thread in the first place and to all you wonderful people here.
I have never thought that this kind of dlc could ever exist, it will have romance and friendmance content (character centered) and the first thing that crossed my mind after the announcement was this thread.

I have to admit that I was one of the pessimist about BW ever releasing dlc that also focuses on LI / character interaction but I am SO GLAD to be proven wrong.

Here's to hoping that the Thanemancers will have their sweet moments with him, Jacobmancer's have a total overhaul (one where Jacob didn't cheat. EVER) and everyone gets to spend more time with their respective favourite character(s) in their finer moments.

Pardon if my post is somewhat incomprehensible, I'm just a little too happy. Overflow of emotions tend to disturb the functionality of my brain, so sorry about that.

Is it wrong that the R&R stuff actually sounds far more appealing to me than the Citadel mission.....?

They should make Kaidan less of a whining b*tch so I would stop second-guessing myself about romancing him. I know, he's suppose to be that "sensitive, a bit on the insecure side" type of guy, and that's why I liked him in ME1, but come on...

Then... romance someone else? ;P I mean, there are at least 2 options in ME3 for each gender/sexuality, if you have reservations about some romance, go for someone else ;P Alternatively, just have single-Shep ;P

But don't take me for a hater. I honestly liked Kaidan in ME1. I was even surprised how much, since the first time I played it, I largely ignored the character. I even replayed half of the game when I realized how awesome he was, but was already locked-in with Liara (and the last save was far, far away). And I was looking forward to reuniting with him.

But in ME3... I dunno. Can't really explain it. I just want my FemShep to tell him to man up a bit.

PS and other FemShep romance options kinda suck, since I don't like Liara that much, and I didn't romance Garrus in ME2.

I'm optimistic about Thane's chances. I think the "complicated" part is that the DLC changes his story leading up to the coup. At the very least, if Thane cannot be saved, I think Shepard should be able to reflect on her relationship with him more. I think these tweets are a good sign that there will be something meaningful for Thanemancers.

It's fine, everyone has their own opinion about each character. No problem if you express your opinion respectuflly Like I said, you can go for Garrus, or maybe even Thane, or Liara/Samantha or maybe Kelly.

It's what I expect to happen. Maybe some reflection scenes with Kolyat, maybe Shep will have an option to visit That's grave (if it's on Citadel obvious), some reflection of past romance scenes, some conversation about Thane with Wrex/Liara etc.

Yeah. Even just a chat with Kolyat would go a long way. BioWare really underestimated how much Thane means to some players, and I think they know that now. It would be a real shame to see them repeat their mistake.

On a more selfish note, I'm really looking forward to more Kaidan scenes. I had to wait long enough to romance him, and I could always use more Alenko time. I think this thread and the blog played no small role in making that happen, so thanks to everyone involved!
