this DLC is exactly what I was looking for. I got to spend more time with Miranda and the rest of my crew. This was by far my favorite DLC that Bioware released. It wouldn't have been possible without all of our hard work hard work. Thanks to everyone involved! It will be sad leaving, I got on here today knowing that this will probably be one of the last times that I'll post here and it got me thinking of the collaboration presented here. I was glad to be a part of it!

Well I'm very pleased with the extra Sam content so far.

The interrupts are very welcome, and the content is pretty much a checklist of what I'd have wanted beforehand;

- something with the toothbrush
- something with chess
- a date on the Citadel (although that turned into space chess!)
- interrupts

Brilliant. Just brillilant.

I haven't been able to bring myself to have the party yet. I don't want it to end..... :(

I am actually really satisfied with this DLC! I finally get a fling with Samara! It is just a tremendous alternative for me! This thread deserves some kind of memorial!

The Miranda romance was also great.
So... How much time we have until this thread gets closed?

I don't know if guys can squee, but if they can't I did the next closest thing when Tali starting karaoke-ing a love song to me.

(PS can guys squee? Is squee-ing an equal opportunity reaction?)

Unless you're a Kelly Chambers fan, in which case, you're completely ignored and have nothing to show for it.

Yeah, I felt sorry for Kelly. She wasn't my LI, but seeing as everyone else was at the party it was a bit disappointing that there wasn't a hint of her at all. I know that in the main story she's supposed to be keeping a low profile, but still, I'm sure they could have worked her in there somehow.

To a lesser degree it would also have been nice to have Dr Chakwas, Gabby and Ken there as well. They weren't LIs obviously but they could have contributed to the ambient dialogue.

I'm 99% thrilled with the DLC, guess it just goes to show that there's always room for improvement.

I totally agree about Chakwas, she was with us from the very beginning! Well, I guess it's an oversight by the developers. But nothing's perfect. =)

@IC-07 -- We'll find out, lol. It wouldn't surprise me if they closed it in the next month or so.

@CronoDragoon -- Everyone can squee. Squeeing is equal-opportunity, etc. I'mglad youliked the karaoke scene, since it seems like many Tali fans were not thrilled.

@Iliya -- Yeah, it blows that Kelly didn't get any content. Be sure to leave a comment about it in the official feedback thread. I'm not a fan of the Thane content they implemented, so I can feel you pain as far as not being satisfied with the LI-related content of the DLC.

@Bester-- More of the crew is always a good thing, imo.

The romance stuff with Kaidan was excellent. Him coming to my rescue, us dressing up and going undercover for a mission, him cooking me steaks, and the two of us cuddling on the couch were the kinds of things I was hoping for. Male Shepard had unique dialogue with romanced Kaidan in the casino entrance scene, and Kaidan used biotics in a cut scene finally. Almost all of my boxes are checked.

The only thing that I wanted but didn't get was a scene between Dr. Chakwas and Kaidan where they talk about our relationship. I want her to say something cheesy like "I always thought you two were made for each other." I felt like I really bonded with her when we drank brandy both times, and it would have meant a lot to have her approval. Her absence was my biggest gripe with the DLC. At least she was able to send her regrets via Traynor and wasn't completely forgotten about.

I do feel bad for the Thanemancers, though. It feels cruel to talk about the great stuff I got when others didn't get what they wanted.

Yeah, I'm not sure I get that. It was surprising to be sure, but by the end Shepard had that, "Yep. This is my girl," look on his face, and I was nodding. What a total geek. Loved it.

I'm just glad no one puts my car-karaoke sessions on YT.

@Rauhel -- I agree that Chakwas would be a great addition.

I appreciate your words about the Thane stuff. I can't bring myself to play the DLC...just can't.

I am very, very happy for everyone else out there that is enjoying it, though. You'll have to have fun for me, on my behalf.

@Crono -- I think it might just be an execution thing. I think (maybe) it was supposed to be a bit humorous like the scene with Mordin in ME2, but some folks seemed to think it didn't have the right kind of "cheese".

IMO this DlC made not only ME3 better, but the entire trilogy as well. It also gave me a new appreciation for certain characters I may not have had before. Also the "Shore Leave" mission was a lot of fun.

In the end, I would have preferred that they didn't make James a LI over what they gave us. Extreamely weird, uncomfortable and dissapointing. They could have done way better.

I find the Javik thing pretty amusing myself.

IC-07 -- I think many people are very pleased at the addition of the memorial service, which is understandable, and which should have been included in the original game. Unfortunately, there is very little romance-specific content for him in the DLC, and of course, it doesn't provide what most of his romancers have been fighting for since before ME3, which was a way to prevent his death/stabbing, etc.

At any rate, there is still great content for many other folks. BW certainly did some things right in this DLC.

@giftfish - True enough, yes. I guess the developers really wanted to retain some drama. But I don't see Mass Effect 3 as some mature game, more of a fairytale, so they could've altered his fate.
P.S. The ghost scene in the very end was epic. =)

Unlocked and played through another wave of 'invite ups' last night - the James/Cortez one was nice. I'm really coming around to the belief that the three new characters in ME3 (Traynor, Cortez, Vega) was one of the highlights of the game - just love all three of them.

FemShep, Cortez & James

The Kaiden 'friend' scene was nice, I can see why a romanced version of that scene would work for folks.

FemShep & Non-romanced Kaiden

The Samara one was nice. Out of curiosity I gibbed my save to get the romance version of that scene. Have to say, I thought that was a very touching scene. Very nicely done. Understated and beautiful.

FemShep & Samara

The Sam 'hot tub' scene was a little short, the friends version was actually twice as long! That being said, more Sam content is always good, and appreciated!

FemShep & Romanced Traynor
FemShep & Non-romanced Traynor

Still haven't invited Kolyat up as I want to get Tali and Miranda's missions sorted out first. Still haven't gotten them to show up on the Citadel yet.

Kaidan's date is so romantic. I always feel the lack of physical contact between maleShep and Kaidan in comparison to femShep. It was a nice change of pace when maleShep wrap his arm around Kaidan. It was cute. Cooking with Kaidan was awesome as well. Overall, I'm satisfied with the DLC.

I adored the invites with Miranda.

The playful "how do I know you're the real Shepard?" bit and the accompanying paragon kiss was endearing. It was absolutely squee-worthy.

Shepard taking Miranda out on a date in the casino was very heartfelt. Miranda and Shepard know that the odds are stacked against them, but they will find a way to make it work. I also liked the playfulness in the [Seduce] dialogue.
