Yes, I know I mispelled his alias in the vid. It was four AM at the time, sorry.

His
original video was breathtaking but bittersweet and quite frankly I'm
sick to my balls of writers thinking the audiance has to have 'Sometimes
the dragon wins' hammered into them. I've lived long enough to know,
not only does the dragon sometimes win, it wins practically all the damn
time.

So, at times I choose to skip that and this was one of those times.

The animated gifs were created by the esteemed Mallyxable.
I collected them, and others, faithfully and had the idea to incorperate them thusly. All true creative credit goes to them.
The
glitches in the video are known to me as well and I'll tweak them.
Additionally if anyone has worthwhile suggestions I'll try to add those
too.

Unlike a corperate product I made this for me. But I'm sure a fair number of fans are liked minded so it's for them too.

I saw this in class at school today, but didn't want to watch it in case it was really good and I got too emotional. I saw neehs had a hand in it so I decided to wait, glad I did. Absolutely stunning, this is what happens when people who have a common passion team up and use their talents to be constructive.
That video is now my headcanon ending, I have bookmarked it for every time I think Mac Walters intent was to kill off Shepard in every ending. Thank you Neehs, Mallyxable and Mad-Hamlet, you have given me what Bioware did not.
I honestly feel like Shepard's journey can R.I.P because I now know she and Liara found peace and happiness. I am truly in your debt.

Oh and btw.. Even though my Sheps name never went up on the wall, this picture above is now my wallpaper. I feel it represents Shepard taking back her story from the writers. If that makes any sense...? =/

Yes.

I only have rudimentary talent and skill when it comes to editing footage, zero talent in reference to 3D art and other technical creativity but when it comes to words, dialiouge, storytelling I am epic.

And feel no shame in saying so.

and the freakin' class LECTURE that is Archengeia's and all I can think is this:

Every single pro and con, all things for and against anything pertaining to the ME3 endings is entirely moot because I made my own ending...as you well know by now... and it has just 'clicked' into place in my psyche.

It has become canon. There it is.

To OP: I know exactly what you mean. I love this video, and see it as the canon for my FemShep. I headcanon my fic for male Shep.

Also, thanks for re-introducing me to Poets of the Fall.

EDIT: yeah, the EC was a marked improvement over the originals, and also a valid alternative.  Still, I'm able to be philosophical about it simply b/c I wrote my own chain of events, and wasn't expecting EC to hold a candle to it.

In a way, I can consider all of these acceptable possibilities now, since I've got my fave in my head.

Really good, I am of the same mind Mad-Hamlet, even before the EC came out I pretty much had my own ending in my head and I wasn't about to let anyone else tell me what it was gonna be.

Oh, sorry mate.  I just meant that's what I do myself.  I am currently working on a fanfic for ME3, so alas, my motivation for working with video editing software is not high.
