I was just wondering if anybody out there knows why the Extended Cut isn't being released on the PSN in Europe until next week?
With this, our initial exclusion from the ME3 multiplayer events and the debacle that was the Dragon Age: Awakening release, It just feels like us European PS3 users are kind of getting the short end of the stick here. I'm not angry, just increasingly disappointed that this kind of thing appears to happen fairly often with us (and usually just with the EU region singled out more often than the others).
Is it just a tech issue with the software? Red tape? Is it a matter with EA/Bioware or Sony (or both)?
Just out of curiosity; the EC release date in Europe?

4th of July is when it comes out. Bioware said that Europe gets a different version of the Extended Cut wherein in each ending Harbinger has a massive EA symbol engraved into his body.

It's a problem with Sony. SCEA and SCEE are completely separate entities.Kmadden2004 wrote...

Both get the DLC and both have their own quality assurance/testing and time table when they put it on the PSN.
Most of the time that's not that bad and both get the dlc etc on PSN on the same time (EU one day later than US).
But sometimes one of them is slow and we get such annoyances like with the ME3 DLC one week later, or Trine 2 was ~2 month later (-.-), or EU PSN got this great PS Vita sales while US got none, and so on.
I really hope Sony unifies their units for PSN someday.

In all seriousness it's probably because EU versions of the game have to have extra time put into changing the Language - Whereas the US version to the best of my knowledge does not.
