Amusingly for me though, I actually want to make my disc into a bunch of shrapnel even more now. Sorry Gamble, but I can talk straight without PR worries, and so I shall.

They really need to hire somebody on leak prevention. First the endings, then the upcoming dlc...
Honestly I think they leaked the DLC on purpose.

The other side (usually right in these instances) thinks EA was upset about people trading in their games due to the sheisty ending, so Gamble threw this out because his bosses told him to.

I believe it will. They've already moderately retconned the endings of ME3 due to fan reaction. As much as they fling the words "artistic integrity" around.
They'll do what the fans want to play, because that's what'll make them money. A lot of people aren't that interested in Omega for example, since it likely has nothing to do with the ending. The Leviathan of Dis could verywell change the ending, and they know people would pay for that.

They might not change the endings, but they have the opportunity to change the context of the endings through DLC without tampering with their vision---well, too much. There's still room to breathe in terms of the writing.

Yea I suppose that's a good point - they could really spin it any way they'd like to.

Guys stop talking about the freaking ending! I just hope they bring us so dlc that will impact the story....not change the ending. Would you like to get a new ending and have Bioware say "oh can the fans just forget the old ending cuz it was crap compared to this new ending....?"
Stop talking? The last post in this thread was from 5 months ago.

Hilarious thread resurrection, but yes, that's pretty much what I'd like BW to do.

but ya I still haven't been impressed by anything they've released yet so I doubt he meant anything by it.

Therefore, more DLC is good for Bioware/EA, but the subject matter of the software is...problematic.
ME2 had Kasumi and Zaeed. ME2 also had LoTSB and that Geth/researcher DLC. Arrival came just before ME3 (relatively) plus, various weapons and appearances.
So far, we have had From Ashes (length is frankly about the same as the Kasumi/Zaeed combined), We have also had Omega (maybe a parallel to LoTSB?) and a pair of weapons packs.
To be fair, there have been free DLC's with the Multiplayer, which was probably conceived as free from the start. Suddenly switching from $DLC to a FreeDLC is fairly impossible when that potential revenue has been probably counted upon for at least a year in advance.
Therefore, the probability of there being more sp DLC is pretty good, as are the chances for more mp DLC. These odds are further enhanced when you consider a team is currently assigned to work on Mass Effect ideas...although that's like saying that Congress has a plan to reduce the National Debt. Nice, but worthless if nothing happens.
Bottom line, is Mr. Gambles' statement to be taken seriously as a hint of future content? Sure. More content was released after his statement.
No offence to the Leviathan and Omega lovers out there, but the real question everyone (in one form or another) seems to be asking is this: "Did Mr Gamble mean something good was coming? If so...we haven't seen it yet."

In all honesty though, I would hardly blame impatient on the fans part, since most western civilization has now been hardwired to be unable to just wait for something, and wants it now with no appreciation for time.
