I never got wrapped into his character, him being Geth just never allowed it, but I see many of the rest of you love this character. Why should I care for Legion?

Since I played ME1, destroying geth left and right, I grew to hate the Geth. So gaining Legion as a squadmate rubbed me the wrong way. So whenever we spoke, I'd renegade response him with quickness, and never brought him along for battle. Didn't even blink when he sacrificed himself in ME3, would've killed him myself right in front of Tali if I had the option.
I never got wrapped into his character, him being Geth just never allowed it, but I see many of the rest of you love this character. Why should I care for Legion?

Maybe if you had chosen the Paragon options you'd understand why. Youtube it, he has some pretty interesting things to say. Chief among them being that he and all true geth weren't even involved in the ME1 conflict, and also that the geth have been preserving Rannoch for the very purpose of the quarians resettling there.

I was just being prejudice against him because I died countless times against those who look just like him, couldn't give him a chance and don't think I ever will. My best bet is to watch on Youtube.

I can't say I understand why people loved him. He was pretty frigid.
He was interesting though, and offered insight into the geth. In ME3 he provided the hope that there could be peace, and that the Geth truly wanted it.

Funny; I don't like the geth in general at all (poorly written and heavily retconned), but I still do like Legion.

I only took Legion out when I was playing my Engineer Shep. Legion + Tali + EngiShep = Combat Drone spam. Hilariously good fun.
Other then that though, he's kinda meh. He's interesting, sure...but I never really got attached to him as a character.

I think that's a bit much. I like Legion and the Geth, but they're a bunch of fictional robots, not a human minority.

I just find it hilariously ironic that the Geth are supposed to be just misunderstood, yet you spend all three games gunning them down. (Yes, I'm aware the first two games are the "heretics", but still.)

I'm fairly sure that in ME2 you are shooting normal geth when saving Tali. The Quarians are past the veil after all.

You can kill Legion if you side with the quarians (just don't take either persuade options). I quite like Legion but Cassandra Shepard didn't like him. She didn't trust the geth and didn't appreciate Legion lying to her all the time.

Yeah it's a bit weird you can't call them out on that, but then even in 2 you can't do much to call out TIM for repeatedly betraying you or Miranda for Akuze or whatever, and 2 wasn't nearly as restrictive as 3 in that regard. I just headcanon main!Shep rolling her eyes and being like "yeah ok Legion, whatever" all through the Consensus &tc, because she doesn't consider the actual truth to be that big a deal in the first place and understands why Legion feels they have to soft-sell it.

Yeah I choose that option every time. It makes sense for the Legion VI, or simply Geth VI to distrust you. But Legion should be trusting shepard.

Legion isn't like the geth that killed you in ME1. For some reason he seems to have some kind of fascination with Shepard. I'll admit, when Legion first showed up, I was interested because I had a freaking geth on my team, but as a character he wasn't as interesting as Mordin or Garrus, but somehow he grew on me. It came to the point where he was the only character I shed tears for in ME3. Not that the other characters' deaths were any less sad. I just fully expected them to die since it's the third game. In the second game I didn't care if Legion died because he said so himself, his body was just a platform, but then in the third game he became a true individual. In a way, he was just coming into life, so his death hit a bit harder than the others.

My paragon doesn't but he's all understanding. (Especially after the dreadnaught incident.
) My renedouche is pretty WTF because there's no Quarians around on their missions so there's no reason for Legion to hold his tongue and that Shep is on his side. So he's pretty pissed by that point.

I read that as a specific complaint about the juggernaut rescue and the Reapertech upgrades, the most minor of Legion's omissions and deceits. Shep never has any dialog about the glossed-over flashbacks of the Morning War or Legion's claims that only the Heretics ever do anything mean to organics back in ME2, in fact she appears to buy whole hog into both.
