I read that as a specific complaint about the juggernaut rescue and the Reapertech upgrades, the most minor of Legion's omissions and deceits. Shep never has any dialog about the glossed-over flashbacks of the Morning War or Legion's claims that only the Heretics ever do anything mean to organics back in ME2, in fact she appears to buy whole hog into both.

Huh. More of BW's railroading is all I can see. Legion's not the only one Shep seems to believe without questioning.

While that is true, Shepard does believe alot. In none of those other times does Shepard believe someone that untill 30secs ago, every member of that race ever encoutered has attacked organics.

Shepard doesn't seem to understand the concept of lying lol.

Oh Shep understands it just fine.

Just for some reason BW doesn't seem to like Shep questioning people too much. Ra knows why maybe they can't be bothered writing the dialogue. I guess they expected the anti-geth sentiments the renegade shows to suffice. Hell SHep can't even be remotely anti-Quarian (and even then my Shep's forced to chase after Tali if she's alive. Prefer playing Rannoch with Tali dead because the forced friendship makes me gag) until he sides with the Geth. Closest he gets is punching Gerrel.

You just reminded me how awful the lack of a neutral option in ME3 geth-related dialogues was. I felt like my Shep had a split personality or something, the way he kept flipping back and forth because he wasn't allowed a middle ground.

The lack of neutral dialogue and the abundance of autodialogue really hurt RP in ME3. I use to use a large amount of neutral options. Can't do that now. =/

Indeed; I remember making large use of them when discussing the genophage with Mordin.

The only thing I really liked about the Rannoch-Geth arc is that they finally gave Shepard a dialogue option to say the Quarians should have wiped out the Geth during their rebellion. That was sorely lacking in ME1 and 2.

Yeah, I was saying that in a different thread today; how it was annoying that you were forced to say that the quarians should never have tried to kill the geth, regardless of your own viewpoint.

Oh yes the genophage plot really needed some neutral options. Being forced to be all YAY CURING GENOPHAGE! or BOOO! was lame. Why can't I be pro it but be wary of the fringe elements? WTF happened to moderation?

I felt exactly the same about Tali back in ME1, but I actually tried to get to know her.

That made me hate her even more

Oh, look, another character bashing thread. And an especially shallow one- oh, wait, all of them are.

We do not understand your animosity towards us. Compiling personality analysis....
....data received. Processing....100%.

Consensus: You exhibit the common fear of synthetics common among organics. Special condition - this trait normally exhibits itself in fictional characters. Your real life dislike of us is troubling...racist tendencies a possible personality trait but no other data exists to confirm this. We will inquire.

I dislike Legion purely because he's a hook to get us to feel sympathy for the Geth after spending the last game shoving Dragon's Teeth up peoples rears and killing Jenkin's equally eager co-workers. The whole "oh they were just Heretics" came out of bloody nowhere and felt rather contrived to me. The way they keep trying to play our heart strings to make the Quarian's look like idiots for the sake of said sympathy and how everybody hates them now just because Legion was a decent, fun, character irks me.

For the record I never romanced Tali before anybody brings that up.

It makes total sense though - the Reapers' indoctrination altered their programming, and fellow synthetics would be a logical first place to go for allies. The Geth think logically - they don't hate Quarians, they don't hate anybody. They aen't evil, thye simply act based on their generally indisputable programming logic. The Reaper-converted Geth have simply had their code modified.

But your reaction is exactly why the Geth in-game never expect the Quarians to be peaceful with them - emotionally-driven organics cannot comprehend an enemy that does not hate them, so they treat the Geth as if they were organics, as if they were out to seize power as an organic would do. But the Geth only fought because they were attacked, not because they planned to kill them all. Their only goal is understanding, knowledge, and higher intelligence.
