I firmly believe in IT and I don't care if others don't. It's the only thing that makes anything after the beam make any sense.

I like to compare ITer's to Birthers and the EC Refusal ending as the big fat birth certificate staring them in the face they ignore.

I had some thing very funny and witty to say about IT and life support but than I figured it would not in good taste..

Let it go.

The denial of IT in the EC DLC is about the only positive aspect of the DLC.

The reason why should be pretty obvious:

The ITers are so "um, committed" that direct denial of IT might make them really mad, and cause them to stop being Bioware fans.

But throw them a few bones, and they'll do just what they currently are doing - continue claiming Bioware are genius writers and the "real" ending DLC ("greatest twist ending in gaming history") is on the way any day now.

Over time they will bargain themselves down to "IT is good headcanon that isn't completely contradicted by the endings we were given".

Mission accomplished - fans retained.

Wrong.  They still haven't released all of the DLC yet.  At this point, we do not know if they will do anything with it.  They did EXPLICITLY hint at it in the EC.  It was NOT debunked.

They added some sound effects. Like a defibrillator.

What the EC is, is added footage. That's all.

The Indoctrination Interpretation is still valid, for what it's worth.

But I wouldn't count seeing it move past anything that, an interpretation.

Maybe they left just enough vagueness throughout the ending so people could choose what they want to believe and not follow convention and shove a single, only-this-is-canon, ending down everyone's throats. It is the end of Shepard's story. No one-ending is going to make everyone happy. And why does it have to be only one right ending?

Quite simple, make DLC with multiple endings, Those who are not happy will keep paying until they get the ending they want. And we all know EA loves money, so its a evil corporation cash cow.

The IT is just fans grasping at straws, like a little kid who leaves cookies out for Santa, and in the morning finds them gone, only to still continue believing in Bioware... sorry, I mean Santa.

How magical did that feel? There's no denying it.

Did you heard about backfire effect ? BioWare already heard when they released ME3, response from fans bang them ugly into face, such a second hazzard could throw them out off bussiness...

I find the fact that people still cling to the IT amusing. It's not gonna happen, folks.

this is a oppurtunity for Bioware considering that they can charge a dlc for this.

thay can actually make a profit from this.

I hope the ITers get a little something. They're fans too, and there's a lot of them.

Why are you so butthurt about it mate? Just because you don't think it's true doesn't mean it isn't...or do you know all?

This.   Even though I ejected IT from my headcanon after EC - this.

It would be nice if Bioware came out and said if IT is or is not what they intended. But no, they want people to continue talking about it and speculate in what happened and all that crap. They say there is no canon ending, so...if you want IT to be your canon ending, then fine by me.

I still think the Indoctrination Theory holds water and is plausible.

But when will Oliver Stone make a movie about it?

The more I've looked at the little details the more it makes sense. In fact I think they should do a DLC that follows through with it.

It's just a PR tactic. The endings are suppose to be taken at face value. They just didn't confirm/deny IT because they know that it has a strong following.

That is how I view it as well.
