This might be more an RP question, but do DA Dwarves hate mages, just distrust them, or do not mind them? I'm trying to figure out how nice I should be to Morrigan

I think they're mostly indifferent. Mages provide a market for lyrium but it's the Chantry that buys the stuff, Dwarves themselves can't be mages, and their resistance to magic diminishes any threat they might pose. There may be a few like Dagna who view magic as an intellectual curiousity but I don't think your average dwarf gives much consideration to mages or the circle.

To be fair unless it's underground it doesn't seem like dwarves care at all for anything about the surface. Magic is just another cash crop for them, nothing else. They can't use it, but they can damn sure make a nice buck off it.

Dwarves seem to be the most tolerant towards magi, given their natural resistance to magic. The Dhalish seemed pretty cool with magi too though.

Oghren has a great dialog with Morrigan concerning his resistance to magic. Keep your ear open for that.
