Topics like this remind me of the stupid people who whine about "What actually IS the black oil?" in Prometheus. Enough information is given within the game to explain it. I don't need technical schematics or a thesis on dark energy to understand what it does.

Star wars shows us how the death star works, its believable.
Star trek shows us how Assimilation works, its also believable.
Star gate shows us how the portals works. even this is also believable.
Mass effect 2 shows us how the Human reaper is being made, Yes its believable.
Mass effect 3 wont show us how the Crucible works, neither how it function, or how it can change the DNA of all living things in the galaxy, And if its a battery, what the *** causes the dramatic change of all life as we know it?
