Still a really, really good or even great game.
However, for romance threads best ever (in my opinion) were:
Neverwinter Nights III (romance the fallen paladin).
Dragon Age Origins (bad girl witches--what's not to like).
ME (feeling blue?).
Not really taliking about cut scenes, but more about conversation content threads.
In ME3 there is one or two sets of conversations and then there are no romance "easter eggs" in regular conversations after that.
Many things in ME3 were really excellently done, but the romance thread kind of felt like a throw away.
The romance thread was pretty weak in ME3

I can never figure out how to number those.
I mean NWN first series, third game.
As I remember it, there was the initial campaign where we met the fallen paladin.
Then there was Under Dark or some such with no romance thread at all.
Then there was the planes traveling installment where we met dark elves and could romance the fallen paladin as an option (the best option in my opinion). So by my own, internal number keeping I count that as NWN III (as opposed to NWN2 I or some such).
Sorry for the confusion.
(Incidentally, for me the original NWN series was the best of all time. It was single character versus controlling a group, and really had the feel of PNP role playing games. Not that I don't buy everything that Bioware makes--must be a Bioware fanboy.)
