Has anyone tested whether or not it is possible to equip a weapon while using bonuses on your armor to satisfy the stat requirements?

For instance, wearing the Superior Drakesin set from Wade to raise your Dexterity from 20 to 26, allowing you to equip The Edge? Or using Superior Drakeskin/Starfang (Longsword) to raise your Dexterity from 17 to 26, again, allowing usage of The Edge?

Yes, you can do that.

You can even remove the armor afterwards and keep the item equipped and usable, though I hope that part will be fixed in a future patch

Indeed, stupid exploit is stupid.



Good that I can at least use the bonuses and keep the armor equipped though. Less points wasted into Dexterity for my Arcane Warrior then.
