I just now noticed this. Did Harbinger say "Join us", "Serve us" or "Save us" before blasting Shepard before he/she is a few yards away from the conduit?

In all seriousness, I thought I heard "One of us".

But the truth is Harbinger said not a damn thing. Just like in all those ghost shows, those idiots do an EVP and they SWEAR up and down they hear something saying something, when all they heard is static.

No matter what the subtitles say, it's always just static.

Just like here. Harbinger didn't say anything. It just powered up its beam or was shifting weight or something.

it could be any of those he said, it's too vague to make out. why would bioware put that in there? just for...no reason? along with all the other strange things that have no purpose being there unless they're trying to hint at something or are just doing it for ****s and giggles.

Looking at the youtube comments, I thought of something pretty interesting.

Many people say that Harbinger is the leader of the Reapers or, at least, the oldest.

What if he said, "Save Us."

Is it possible that he is the first civilization (the one that made the Catalyst then were turned into the first Reaper against their will by the Catalyst)?

I don't know... I'm guessing that Harbinger actually said "save us", probably hinting that the Catalyst has been in control of the Reapers and the true villain all this time and they are its helpless puppets

They could do it as first time - just blasted by Harb and woke up little later but in some strange way they did it just this way - as it supposed to had some greater meaning inside.
Yeah someone could say it´s just Reapers hum but why we should 3 seconds long empty scene with staying Harbringer, when few seconds back he storm whole batalion of units with his beams...
