I mean obviously making it seem like Harbinger said something was just for more speculation. If they wanted us to know they wouldn't have made it distorted(we know Harbinger has a clear voice) and subtitles would have been made for it.

Because it was not articulate, as proven by the fact that people have different interpretations whether he said 'serve us' , 'save us', 'join us' and so on.

Not to mention Harbinger usually speaks like a professor, but here he decided to go jibberish on us.

Reapers are based on Levitheans the same way Geth are based on Quarians. 

Where did you get this information? Can you post a link? So the Leviathan is a 2km organic creature?

"Come With Us" is all i can make out of it

Oh trust me. I've listened to it very closely multiple times. The last word is "us" and if it's not then it's just noise. The first word, though, I can make a 's' sound and then maybe a 'r' sound. But it's impossible to tell what it's saying.

Edit: Now that you mentioned it sounded like "Come With Us", that's what I heard. Wow. Don't know how it went from hearing two words to hearing 3.

It sounds like 'save us' but that could all be suggestion now that I've read people suggesting it about a dozen times now. I don't know if he actually says anything. It seems weird that he doesn't communicate anything to Shepard over the course of the entire game. Seems kind of pointless to have established him as a stand-out amongst the Reapers in ME2 now.

Why would he say "Save Us" and then fire a Reaper beam at Shepard.... it was obviously "Serve Us" and that is what it sounded like to me.

Harby says Serve Us it was put in because of IT no question. Bioware didnt want to kill IT so they added in "Serve us" and "So be it"

Maybe he briefly broke free of the Catalyst's control.  This would also explain why he didn't fire on the Normany.

But the truth is Harbinger said not a damn thing. Just like in all those ghost shows, those idiots do an EVP and they SWEAR up and down they hear something saying something, when all they heard is static.

No matter what the subtitles say, it's always just static.

Just like here. Harbinger didn't say anything. It just powered up its beam or was shifting weight or something.

LOL:D So true; it´s amazing what people make themselves believe. The same goes for those who think they can hear hidden messages when playing certain songs backwards *rolls eyes*.
