The situations for use for the murder knife need to be handled better. I don't like seeing it used as a finishing move when I have a freaking sword.

Haha, the murder knife was spawned precisely for this reason, stabbing someone with the sword in your hand would look messed up with a mace or a staff etc. the knife is there precisely to give everyone a simple weapon with which to shred, cut, slash, mangle, maim, execute and slaughter...

Knifey, Knifey, Knifey
I made you out of Murder
And when you're soaked and ready
With Knifey I shall play.

I would like character development and a romance arc.

Yes, I'm tired of this discrimination against people who would rather romance an inaminate object than the DA2 options.

That's if the murder knife is actually an inaminate object. It could be a sentient being encouraging your protagonist to kill everything. It would explain a few things.

I was thinking maybe they could add a new feature for the Murder Knife in DA3. Now, I know people don't want more Mass Effect in DA but...wouldn't it be cool to have a Murder Knife interrupt?

Somebody is just going along in a conversation and deeper down the conversation, you have the choice to Murder Knife them anyway. So why not put that interrupt in there early on so annoying characters can be dealt with early!?

I can't tell you how many times I wish a Murder Knife interrupt was in the game for the French accent characters...

As much as I loved the Murder Knife in DA2...especially as an archer where you could use it in normal combat...I'd like it gone in DA3. And replaced with 'Murder-Whateverweaponyoureallyuse.'

Its not as annoying as Shepard's Cutscene Assault Rifle, but its close.

This is actually a skill you can learn in Risen 2. Its called 'Nuff Said' and basically allows you to end a conversation by shooting them in the head with your flintlock. Not always fatal but usually funny.

Har, har. If this game goes on the Steam summer sale, I'm buying it just for this feature.

I always thought the murder knife was pretty slick. Whereas Shepard pulls out weapons she can't use (Maker, why -assault rifles- when they are the most exclusive weapons in the game? a simple gun would work for pretty much all classes), even mages and warriors can stab people with knives without character being broken.

Not that it's something I'd use in a perfect world scenario of course. But removing the murder knife altogether seems like more work than it's worth to my untrained, unprofessional eyes.

A lot of occasions pulling a greatsword or a longbow would make less sense than a knife anyway.

Thay'd also be removing a symbol of the franchise.

Many of us hold the Murder Knife dear to our hearts. Don't know how many times I've laughed seeing these sequences in the game. It's a great form of humor. I especially like the ones with odd animations.

If Bioware removed this, it would be like somebody stabbing me and slowly twisting the knife...:crying:
