Updated to 1.02 patch. Been playing for a few days now with no problems. Today, went to load last saved game and get the above messaage which will not allow game to load. Tried several different saved games and still get same message. Any idea's on how to solve? Never saw "campaign.cif" before in Bioare files, only "singeplayer.cif". Frustrating.

I think I need a refund on this game. I have had nothing but issues from Gamer's Gate and EA. I sent an e-mail to Gamer's Gate and will post if they can figure out what needs to be done in order to fix this. However, I am asking for a full refund if they give me any B.S.

To add to that: there is a CIF for the campaign (the campaign being Awakening). It's just that it isn't named 'campaign.cif', but rather 'dao_prc_ep_1.cif'. It should be located here:
C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\addins\\dao_prc_ep_1\\module\\
What you're getting is a generic error message, and like many such messages, it's misleading and/or not of much help at all. Anyway, check and see if that file is where it's supposed to be. I'm pretty sure it is, because if you don't have the file you get a completely different error message ( I just tested it). And of course, that error message is completely useless. It just tells you the module is missing and doesn't say a damn thing about the lack of a CIF (which would, you know, actually be pretty f*cking good to know if it happened for reals). But anyway, it doesn't hurt to check.
