So I romanced Liara in ME1, Tali in ME2, didn't have the heart to say no to Liara so far in ME3, and I have the option now that Tali's back to rekindle that relationship as well... so if I were to be a complete douchebag and say yes to Tali as well, how, exactly, would that play out? is there some kind of a time/place where you're forced to choose? Does my rekindling the relationship with Tali just make it so the game pretends I didn't rekindle with Liara? do they get pissed off at me?

Liara will yell at you the next time you go talk to her after rekindling with Tali ("Shepard, I know you've gone back to Tali"), but that's about it. There are no threeway confrontations or moments where you're forced to choose one or the other.

ok, does rejecting Tali cause problems later in the game? (sorry, just not feeling like doing any 12 hour experiments here) Thanks, btw

No, I don't believe so. The only love interest with whom breaking up can lead to trouble is Miranda (and only if you break up with her the first time you run into her). Everyone else is safe, as far as I know.
