Did you have to mod the game to remove the helmet? Or did you use the options in the settings that deal with forcing the helmet off?

Personally I would have quite liked to wear it helmetless in suitable environments but with (enclosed) helmet on in Vacuum/Toxic environments, as you say, quite apart from its generous stats, it simply looks badass. Shep almost looks like a Battlemech when wearing it (plus it seems oddly suitable when Vega is along for the ride).

Right... all I actually wanted was to switch the open helmet off so Shep isn't running around like a dork while all his team mates are helmetless (basically how it looked in the Warfare Pack trailer). I still want the sealed helmet to kick in while in hostile environments, so not sure that Breather command will work.

There's something on the ME wiki that talks about removing meshes entirely, but I'm not sure what effect that will have when Shep and co go into a hostile environment.

Just remove it or add a mesh without the command "bHasBreather=True".
He will be helmetless, but when you enter a hostile enviroment, he will use the N7 helmet.
Obviously, this will only look good if you use the defender armor, I'm pretty sure that the rest of the sets won't look too good with that helmet

What is the chest peice top left and were do you get it? I dont think ive seen that one,the one with the red lights it looks realy good

It's the Rosenkov Materials chestpiece. You can buy it from the "Nos Astra Sporting Goods" store.

Yeah, as customisable armour goes, Rosenkov is the best looking.

My fave Customisable setup is Kuwashi Visor, Serrice Shoulder pads and Rosenkov chestplate, gauntlets and greaves - great setup for an Adept.

My Shepard uses the Collector armor and, on occasion, the Terminus armor (both are pretty good for Soldier class).
