This seems to happen everytime. I could not find any information anywhere about this but I have been looking at youtube videos both 360 and PC and most of the PC and 360 videos show the power as mostly transparent.
This has been a problem both time the game has been installed on my computer. I have all of the graphical settings maxed out.

That's unusual. Is this the only graphical issue you have? Have you tried using the ME2 Config to Delete the Shader Cache? Without knowing hardware specs, I'll be grasping at straws all day with suggestions. Looks like you can run it decently at least. Any problems with Tactical Cloak in ME3?
As far as I know this is the only graphical glitch I have, I will try deleting the shader cashe. I have no idea is this happens on ME3 i've never use the class in that game single or multiplayer but I will have a look.
The only Hardware things I know about my PC is that the graphics card is a Radeon HD 5450, the core is a intel i5 quad core 3.20hz and I have 6GB RAM.. My computer is running on Windows 7 home premium and I have 577GB hard drive space remaining out of a Terabyte.
Edit: How do I delete the shader cashe?

When anyone chooses to ignore minimum requirements, they should be aware that forcing a part to operate right at the maximum limit is is capable of, is very likely to shorten the life span of the part. The cooling capacity of cheaper parts of such low quality just isn't good enough for steady game play, and eventually, most such cheap hardware will give up the fight and begin to die.

That HD 5450 is a "barely minimum" choice. You probably need to drop the screen resolution to give it some breathing room.
I see, I tried droping the resolution but that really hasn;t affected the game in anyway, tacitcal cloak is still funny.

Forget that, I had thought that config option existed for ME2. Is your catalyst driver up to date? If you look in 'BioGame\\CookedPC' does it contain a file called 'BIOG_UIWorld.pcc'? I'm just throwing guesses at your problem, haven't seen a problem this specific that doesn't effect other assests before.SovereignSRV wrote...

Yeah I do have the UIworld.pcc in the cookedPC folder
as for drivers, I doubt it. I believe mine are from when I got the PC 2 years ago. The reason being that every time i updated them, manually, auto or through windows I would lose all the resolutions on my list I would get a choice of 1920x1080, 1280x720 and 800 by something. My tv is LCD adn has a native of 1360x768 any other res looks terrible on it and so I have never updated them.

I also tried what you suggested, uninstall the driver and instal new ones but it didn't work I still lost all the resolutions.
I don't know if this is the right section to ask but I should be upgrading my computer soon.
Thinking of getting a Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 to replace my Radeon HD 5450
and possible getting a Solid state drive. Would have to buy a better power unit too. Was thinking 1200 watt?
I have around 200-300 watts I think, if not then it's not far off that value.
Looking at these
Core is a intel i5 quad core 3.20hz
6GB RAM
Windows 7 home premium
578GB hard drive space remaining out of a Terabyte.
Do I need to really change anything apart from the graphics card?
Is there a better card out there? ( I would like to change to Nvidia)
I'm not looking for the most expensive just something good that can run the Mass Effect series at full graphics, ini tweaked for better visuals, anti-aliasing etc and without any graphical issues.

No, you don't need to change anything else. I run an almost ancient rig of an AMD 9750 cpu (2.4Ghz), 2Gb ram and a GTX 260. The game runs smooth as silk at max settings and 1920x1080 resolution as the game only uses DX9 technology. Also a good branded 650w psu will be plenty for a single GTX 570.
Thanks

The wattage for a power supply isn't the most important specification for a power supply. As the poster above mentioned a 650 will do fine. However the important thing for video cards is that the voltage rails can support a minimum amount of current.SovereignSRV wrote...

I have around 200-300 watts I think, if not then it's not far off that value.
For example, the GeForce GTX 570 requires a minimum 550W PSU with a 35 Amp +12V rail. I've seen 800W PSUs with 20 Amps on a +12V rail which would be insufficent and then 550W PSUs with nearly 40 Amps which would be more than ample. Make sure you research your PSUs before you buy.
Yeah, just whenever changing a graphics card, just make sure your PSU can handle the Manufacturer's rated current draw as a minimum. You're looking at a Zotac brand card, but I find them a bit cheap. Price point can be nice, but a lot of people seem to have trouble with that brand. Sort of like BFG Tech was. Definately look on distributor sites and check reviews to see what other people are saying.SovereignSRV wrote...

Also make sure your new card comes with a cooling fan. Some lower end manufactures such as Zotac may not add in a fan. If it doesn't have one, make sure you get a great fan for that heatsink.
For just about anything I usually get it from Asus. You pay a bit more, but I've never had a problem with any of their hardware. I consider it bombproof.

As I said above "I'm not looking for the most expensive just something good that can
run the Mass Effect series at full graphics, ini tweaked for better
visuals, anti-aliasing etc and without any graphical issues"
Ini tweaks would be things like the ShadowRadius, HighPolyModels, increased Max and Min Shadow resolution etc.
and hopefully running some texmod..mods.
also apart from wanting something that will not only keep a steady framerate. It would be nice to get at least a constant 60 frames but 80 or above would be wondeful.
Another request is for a powerful but not overly large card or power unit. I don't think my case is that small but i don;t think it's large........I think?
but yeah the smaller the better but as long as the specifications I mentioned above are met then anything is fine.

To be honest, there's not much point in getting components that will 'only' be good enough to run ME3. The reason being that overall, they don't really go down in price as they get older. e.g, My GTX260 still costs around £200, as it did 4 years ago. You can get better cards for the same price (unless you go down the second-hand route). So get what you can afford.
A decent future proof card would be an Asus GTX560. It's not massive either, and should fit in most mid towers like the Coolermaster Elite 330. A good power supply would be a OCZ ModXStream Pro 500w (which I use and can personally recommend) or Corsair CX 500. (If you are running lots of other drives/fans etc. and wanted to be overly cautious then go for the 600w equivalents.)
CPU you've listed is fine, especially for 'closed world' games like ME3. Clock speed (arguably) and quality of RAM is important too, check corsair's website for compatible modules for your mobo.

edit: Ok, now i'm confused. I screwed around with my Nvidia Control Panel settings and somehow the issue fixed itself O_O
I turned Anisotropic Filtering on at 16x, overriding the games texture filtering, turned on FXAA, set transparency AA at 8x (supersample), turned off Anisotropic sample optimization, set Negative LOD Bias to Clamp, turned texture filtering onto High Quality and enabled Trilinear optimization too. One of these fixed it, now I gotta find out which one, lol
