So like many of you I was extremely disappointed with the ending of the game, and the fact that I needed to grind out multiplayer matches ( which was fine for one game, was boring to sit there for 4 hours getting enough EMS to hit 5k). now with the EC out I thought I would give it another try however I am hoping I will not have to grind out multiplayer again. So my question is do I still need 5k in order to get the "best ending?
Still need Multiplayer for "best" ending with the EC?

You no longer need to play multiplayer or use the iOS apps to be able to access all the single-player content.
The new minimum requirement for the breath scene is 3,100 EMS.

Not all of us gladly shell out cash for XBOX Live Gold to play something that ships with the game to begin with. Also, not everyone is connected to the internet at all times.

I think the concern is the necessity of it, prior to the update. Sometimes I'm just tapped out for MP.

I do not enjoy fighting bots, if I want to play an online shooter I will boot up MW2 or Arma 2, I play Mass effect for the story.

MEMP is like a surprisingly good warm up band, but in the end, I came for the main show. I'll play it when I feel like it, but I don't want to feel like I have to play it.

Not everyone enjoys or has the Internet connection needed to play MP, I for one hate MP, I blame it for everything that is wrong with ME3.

The game comes with a 2 day XBox360 Live Gold pass. I used this to bump up my EC once to get the ending. Never bothered with it after that.mechalynx wrote...

I tried MP because my friends nagged me until I did. I played for about an hour before I got bored with it. Haven't played with them since, thank God they finally stopped asking. I just don't like MP, being told to survive wave after wave of enemies got old during SP in ME3.
