Hey all,
So in my first playthrough in ME2, I played as a Soldier. I am thinking about playing again but as a different class. I am planning on transferring my player in the second playthrough to ME3, but I am wondering about skills points being transferred.
I heard that if you played as, let's use Soldier as an example, I will get approximately the same skills. But let's say in ME3, I want to play as an Adept instead and change my class, would I have THE SAME MOUNT of skill points to spend on being an Adept? How does it work?

if you switch classes your skill points are not spent but free to use for whatever you want.

...but if you stay in the same class, all your skills are locked in?
