Based on what you know of the Qun, what are your thoughts towards it?

To me, it's a house of cards that requires everyone to be completely honest in all things. (I do not believe that such is possible.)

The Qun seems to properly recognize that words are cheap, but it does not seem to recognize that the proper actions among the Qunari can simply be completely insincere for other purposes. (Think about all the players that made their Hawke appease the Arishok for nothing more than the Dragon Age: Kirkwall achievement without any actual agreement with or respect for the Arishok.)

As such philosophies and governments of that type go, a handful of bad apples in the right places can cause the whole thing to go violently wrong. As there will always be crooks and criminals who will take advantage of any edge over others, I do not see how the Qun managed to last as long as it did. So-called "zealotry" for the Qun is not guaranteed.

Worse, it seems that everyone is reduced to specific roles without any incentive to strive to exceed their defined role. As the Arishok admitted in Dragon Age: Kirkwall, "The Qunari have not changed their fortunes." While this is a specific situation regarding Kirkwall, I do not see how the Qun allows them to change throughout the Qunari nation.

Thought is that Kosith are just different from other species and that their mind functions differently, so they picked something that worked for them. You know how male/female mind functions a little differently, it's in humans nature. I think that the same applies to races ( all animals are different too), and that different races have natural tendencies to think a specific way. There are always exceptions both among things like male/female mind and races, that's why some people that are not Kosith join the Qun and why there are Kosith outcasts. I think however that Qun can't be forced on everyone outside the mostly Kosith society as is unnatural for people to live in that way.

So I just think that every race ( just like animals ) have natural tendencies to live in a specific pattern. There is this example in Warhammer 40k universe for example - there is a race called Eldar, and they basically have an anarchy system in their society. Every person listens to elders not because they HAVE to, but because that is a wise thing to do, and because elders know what they are doing. They can always say no and just leave the society to wonder the galaxy, but they don't really have natural tendencies to rule over each other or to make a government and laws.
I don't think that anarchy would work with humans since humans have a different mind set, but with a specific mindset anarchy could very well work as in above example. Same goes for the Qun imo.

A little messy writing ( english isn't first language. ) =P

I can't really say much about them given I don't understand the intricacies of their culture but from the outside looking in and from what I've heard in dialogue they just seem culturally stagnant. It doesn't seem like they have much passion beside their fervor for the Qun. We've only seen primarily one side of the Qun, we've yet to see more of them.

The Qun is doomed to fail eventually, it does not allow for growth or change.

Not that that would be a huge loss. The Qun should be wiped off the face of the planet with fire.

Though to be honest I'm rather curious about the Kossith homeland. What if there were groups of kossith that hated the Qunari and wanted to wipe them off the face of the planet? They never really mention why the Qunari ever ended up going to thedas and leaving the homeland in the first place(not that I've noticed anyways) it could be that there are "Qunari-hunters" back on the other side of the pond. They never really mentioned the people that Koslun came from either, what about them? That would make things rather interesting.

Though I'm partially expecting the Qun to crumble in on itself given how there really is no show of them wanting to change to make up for the land they're on or the fact that their own are leaving the Qun in search of more... Pull your heads out of the sand, guys! Still got some respect for them but it doesn't even seem like they're trying to fix themselves. Though again, don't really know much about them :\\... Still want a Kossith LI in the next installment of DA or sometime in the future.

The Qun might break down but only if it were to face a crisis where the craftsman rise up or one of the leaders taste to much power and realize that they could take over but the society to me seem too solid. They have rigorous control over the education system so all are taught to be content from the beginning and if everyone think that their life is right they have no reason to rise up. It would be the non-kossith Qunari who would lead to the Qun fall
