If I see someone with rapidly depleting health I and the others might be so inclined to go investigate what the F is going on over there and help out...

Exactly. It would also make Geth engineers and AJAs better able to provide assistance. I'd also inclide a bleedout timer next to their name as they were bleeding out, which I will add to the OP soon.

- Armature: 8,000 Armor / 6,000 Shields
Maybe about the size of a Ravager, but a little bigger. Two mounted machine guns on the sides of the head, each with similar damage to Cerberus turrets. Can only fire in a 145-degree cone in front of the Armature. 2-second audible buildup before opening fire, similar to a minigun. Turns slowly, easily flanked. Secondary weapon; 200 damage radial energy pulse on players that get too close, 3 second cooldown, staggers if it breaks shields
No thanks!

It is impossible to balance the weapons with the current system, as we can't buff them to become usable by everyone out of fear that they'll become OP in the hands of a few.
(we can instead replace +damage effects with things such as increased weapon switch/reload speed/accuracy/weapon handling capabilities, making soldiers and infiltrators still the best weapon users).

ULM: Make it work or make it disappear.
Monetary bonus for extractions.
Make banshees stumble from BE, FE, TB, CE.
Krogan should only lockstun from Primes and brutes.
Batarian should be less susceptible to being stunned.
Turian could use sidestep.
Character names displayed to other players.

And I agree with justinblac, the hunter mode brightness needs to get dialed down.

I saw some other additions people posted that I will add soon (need to be on PC for color formatting, which resets itself upon each edit, my smart TV isn't good for that).
I'll say again, I'm not including bug fixes in this thread. The quality control and new content should be tackled by separate teams of employees, anyway, so there is no reason we can't have both.
I'd like replies that don't just say "this idea sucks," while ignoring the others, or "fix bugs," while missing the point.

Are you a developer? Most things in this game depend on something else. If you cahnge one thing, it requires a lot of testing to make sure other things don't get broken either. My signature puts a thread together that explains most of it.1337haxwtg wrote...
I'm just not seeing how a change like this would be so hard to pull off. I'd have to see the code, which would certainly never happen.someN7orother wrote...
Much as I like the idea of krogan having 2-3 health bars instead of 5, and without actually knowing how it's coded, I'd have to agree. It's probably more feasible to give krogan a flat regeneration rate like vorcha. Then the problem becomes balancing the already unstoppable behemoth that is the kroguard, though...Mgamerz wrote...
All allies have 5 bars of health, its universal and woudl require a considerable amount of work to change since it's pretty integrated, so that'd not goign to change.
HUD changes are nice, but I'd rather they concentrate their efforts on fixing what we already have and things like rolls for turians and stunlock resistance for batarians and krogan.

Doubt we'll any Armature's though, as they'd have to build the models for those from scratch.

About the armature, the turret would have a buildup first and have extremely slow tracking, so while deadly, it would be easily avoided. You could attack between bursts or flank it for an easy kill.
Better than two palm cannons, I suppose. I would like to see something more Gethish though. Twin smaller versions of a Prime's guns mebbe, or something.

Your wording just comes off as extremely condescending, in both your replies and your signature (not saying that was your intent). I have experience with programming structure and logic. There are many ways BioWare could have gone about programming the health bars in, some easily changed and some not, which is why I said "I'd have to see the code."Mgamerz wrote...

It may or may not be easily changed; only BioWare can say. I'm not demanding the feature, just suggesting it.

Too much like a Ravager for my liking. They would be Geth Spitfires rather than the same as Cerberus turrets.Meatiershower wrote...

That 3 seconds can be a life saver on devices and 21 seconds for hack.
Of course you'd be forgoing shields/weapon damage or extra grenades to shave time off objectives that may not appear in a given mission, but I'd go for it.
