@ KC That's what they were talking about, is making more of this set (or similar)... :)

IE the "Transparent Harem Pants" request.

To fill out the set it needs new matching parts for the chest, forearms, pelvis, thighs, shins I'd think...

Tali @ Sinfar (who made the lit cigar and round glasses) is working on a very nice looking veil atm as well :)

I made biceps, legs, and a pelvis; if my robe making skills weren't absolute rubbish, I'd have made the pants as a robe ;~;

I didn't make shins because I thought the outfit'll look too bubbly and didn't want to get too sidetrack from my main work, though I'll make them if anyone wants. Oh! And I suppose I'll do a version of the Sedos Clothing without the spikes. I worked on the backpack too...

I don't mind doing simple tasks/requests if they're specified. If too much is left to my imagination I'll get bogged down with possibilities, and if they aren't simple, I'll probably be too lazy to do them. Posted Image

Oo~ I'll definitely want to make some like those, along with a variety of tops and sashes. Some heads would be nice too! *biting off more than I can chew*
If not sooner, I'll do it when we get around to Arabian Nights. Hopefully I can figure out how to get my robes to actually work! >:3

.... I want those harem pants (the illustrations) so bad. Don't get me wrong you can definitely work with the poofy thigh parts too. Amazing how much work you all are doing.

Also, Is it easy to make the gold on the glasses work off a metal clothing choice?

No, sorry Jenna, VFX can't take PLTs, they use 24 bit bitmaps only...

(unless OldTimeRadio or somone has found a trick to get around the limits:D)

Out of curiosity, are there other frame colors you would like to see?

Not hard, for Lisa's elven making the first set took the longest, recolors are literlly just dragging and dropping textures in gmax or changing 1-5 lines in the ascill mdl.

The real pain is going to be making versions for all races and genders, as i still have yet to create/borrow a full set of gmax friendly guide heads. We sooooo need something like nwn armor for aligned VFX :)

But in for a penny, in for a pound, i say...

So keep those requests coming, plz :)

I just sent in my submission, the files to add rideable phenotypes for CEP brownie appearances.

In it's simplest form it's a hak that gets added on top of the CEP haks (it contains a slightly altered version of the CEP 2.4 appearance.2da, plus models).

Includes several changes for the CEP dynamic brownie appearance:
- it adds the riding phenotype for normal and large bodied brownie appearances
- it enables brownie robe support while riding
- it adds brownie scaled CEP robes (for robes brownies didn't have before)
- it changes brownie wing/tail scale so that horse "tails" appear correctly
  - - default value is 0.6, this is changed to 0.45
- it slightly changes the weapon scaling so that brownie weapons are proportional to their scaling from human size
  - - default value is 0.5, this is changed to 0.45

Note for future custom content:

The brownie models are simply scaled down human models.  Males are 45% the scale of human males, and females are 44.7% the scale of human females.  This should make things like brownie-sized armor/clothing easier to model for future inclusion.

  I'd been trying out a few different things this months, but since I'm still getting the hang of gmax most of it hasn't come along as well as I'd hoped.

  As for what is coming along, I modified part of a_fa in working on a better chair sitting animation, changing the sitdown and sit portions of the animations.  I'm reasonably happy with how it turned out overall, but haven't tested it extensively enough yet to know how it'll react to robes or alternate phenotypes.
  If any more experienced animators wnated to take a look at it (Or anyone just wanted to grab it early), I've got it stored here.  A short clip of how it looks in game is here.

  What would you want changed in the male one?  It seems like as long as I can stay in the same key length and  the same start position there shouldn't be any issues making modifications.

I think I'll see if animations can be set into the racial base models. It'd be interesting if, for example, the foot on knee one could be set for elves only. Overall I think the other one is better suited overall, since I can't really picture a dwarf doing the other.

It's something for me to try out, anyways.

It looks like it's not only possible to do animations by race, but that it might be necessary in some cases.  It allows for tweaking to compensate for size differences in animations.

Anyways, this is what I have so far for males, with the female one thrown in for good measure.

Edit:  I updated the file at the DL link in my first post to include the pmh0 and pme0 mdl fies as well, for these two versions of male chair sitting.  The sitchair and sit animations can be copy/pasted from there into an existing file if needed for merging.  That's what I'll be doing with them for my mod.

*Random Ideas*

One thing on my animation-work wishlist is fixing the female dancer phenotype so it doesn't have the old female no-neck animations...

Possibly fixing with the saga yaun-ti dancer ani's if better?

(*Grins* and eventually fixing the way the saga dancer holds weapons so they dont clip thru her legs?)

(Either that or perhaps they could become custom/extra/new animations? possibly with dryad/succubus taunts?)

In general Bioware females seem to "slouch" too much when they stand, and could use a more femine walk as well... (certianly nothing too silly of course, just not so manly-looking. Even subtle changes or looking at the early animations-sets (pre-hotu?) might help overall effect).

(And in NWN2 ladies posture got even worse, while a slouch "stance" might be nice for serfs, ruffians or elderly, having every female character in every scene look like an angery-surly-teen just didnt work for me.. No offence intended towards the hard-working nwn2 animators or any angry-surly-teen readers of course :D)

Oh yeah, speaking of "stances", how about different ways of standing? (think drunk, but instead could be martial artsy, alert, slouching, nervous, noble, alluring, smoking, drinking, etc..)

(This one might be a tall order but..) For alternate forms of sitting, eating/drinking/toasting/ordering food/smoking/sleeping in chair/tied to chair/sitting while talking, laughing, arguing, drunk? (Think the RP-heavy Ultima7.2 Serpent Isle town banquets)

And of course, better/different laying down and sleeping animations :)

Different ways to pray/meditate? (such as the dndgeek mino pheno's  "Unreal" floating levitation meditation...)

(Even just prayer were you dont hold your weapons sticking in your chest at least...)

*Still sooooo needs to learn to animate*
