 Hello Everyone!

Well...this is my problem: when I play and there is a cutscene playing (for example, when the Normandy escapes from Earth, when Karlos kills the reaper, during the final cutscenes) it seems that my video card stops working. First the screen freezes and shows strange colors (see link) img402.imageshack.us/img402/2096/clipimage002nc.jpg , and then the Radeon's VPU recover message appears, that the video card stopped working bla bla bla... but I can return to the game, and in the next cutscene happens the same, untill the 3rd time that this happens, because the video card definitely stops working, because in my monitor shows the same screen when you just turn it on without turning on the PC. I can play normaly SP and MP, excepting this problem JUST during the cutscenes. Any idea?

PC Specs:

Quadcore 2666 MHZ
Radeon HD 4850 1GB
2GB RAM

I've had mine do this to me back when I played World of Warcraft. It was a purely isolated issue, but is- in my experience- definitely VGA related.

I wish I could help you further. For now, consider this a complimentary bump.

Sounds like your video card may be on the verge of quitting. Have you updated your video drivers to the latest revision? Blown out any dust that may be choking out airflow?

Edit: Your video card requires a 450 watt power supply minimum (550 recommended). Do you have enough power going to the card?

Never did, so I just quit playing WoW, (which I was only playing for the sake of my friends, anyway).

What had happened was my old 8800GT died, so I grabbed a new 570 GTX, (huge power boost), and that's when the problem started. It could have had something to do with the game software, drivers, or even a form of bottleneck effect, but I don't know. While I would still get some staggering here and there in other games, (likely bottleneck), the artifacts never showed up.

My stats are:

Geforce 570 GTX AMP!
2gigs of Ram PC2 6400
Intel E6850 Dual Core
Samsung HD 320Gig
Rosewill RX750-D-B 750W

So you can see, at least with the Processor and Ram, there is potential for bottlenecking. But my eventual conclusion was that it was likely something purely related between the game software and driver.

I have the same VGA and I don't have this problem. Check the temperature. The most common problems with this Radeon series are due to high temperature but they automatically stop working when they go over 110 C so I think it is something else. 2GB RAM seems too low for ME3 so check if it is used on 100%. Also check if you have enough free space on your drive. I had something similar to your screenshot while I was watching a vid on youtube and I ran out of space on drive C,
