1) Destroy. For three games I was told to blow these bastards up and I was not about to be derailed at the last ten seconds.
2) 2/10
3) 6/10 maybe 7 on a good day
4) Sticking with destruction.
Synthesis is good only because the authors want to shoehorn that its good. Reapers cooperating and everyone working together, holding hands and singing kumbaya. It makes no sense and it doesn't work. If everyone just started hand holding with reapers that just proves that Sinthesis thoroughly eliminates the emotional aspect of Organics and we now all might as well be machines with glowing green eyes.
As for Control, it would be acceptable if it hadn't given me the chills with a robot esque Shepard now acting as Big Brother watching everyone. If the epilogue had instead been that the Reapers leave to DarkSpace and "Shepard" stays behind on a lone reaper like Sovereign to keep watch so to speak, that'd be more acceptable, but the Reapers all practically move in and set up shop.
So yeah, Geth, Edi, sorry but destroy is mine. There's no reason I can't headcannon them being reactivated later.
A Question too complex for a Poll, please read and answer.

1. Meant to pick control but went down the middle
2. 1/10. Beyond horrible.
3. 6/10. Fixed my biggest complaints, which was having the relays explode and leaving the galaxy completely ruined and dead and also Joker turning into a coward. Still hated baby space Jesus but the new control ending felt like a decent ending to me.
4. No I like control and to me it actually felt like a happy Ending.

1. Pre EC, I was not sure how to pick options so I started walking, thinking that somewhere will be something I can click on: Then Shepard starts running toward the beam. Nooooo.
2. Pre EC ending 2/10. Very bad. At first I thought I missed something in game. Honestly, I was in shock when I realised that this was really end of Mass Effect 3. .
3. Intended EC ending 0/10. Reasons are numerous. Unintended results with Refuse ending are better, even if they are purely coincidental in nature.
4. Refuse. Shot the Catalyst in the face. Bullet passed through him and hit Turian Cruiser outside.
Credits roll, I skipped them.

Control
7/10
8/10
I read the leaked script on the ending, I kept my original decision during the first week of gameplay, and the EC.

1) What Choice did you pick your first time through
2) On a scale of 1-10 rate the pre-EC ending
3) On a Scale of 1-10 rate the post-EC ending
4) Did you at some point change what was your personal Shepard's "canon" choice, and if so what did you change to and why.

When are we to see the results of this Hackulator?
I just finished entering every answer I've gotten so far into a spreadsheet. This doesn't mean people should stop answering, I hope to get much more data. So far I have had 160 valid responses. I'd like to take a moment to go over what I mean by "valid".
Since I plan to take averages and create data points, it is necessary that answers fit into the 1-10 scale or I cannot plot the points properly. Therefore, a number of people who gave a score below 1 or above 10 are not included. In cases where people scored something a "0", I moved it to a 1 in most cases (but not all) in order to use as much fo the data as possible. Likewise, since the main point of the excercise is to compare people's rating of the ending with the choices they made, people who gave no answer for what choice they made or who gave an answer to convoluted for me to determine a clear choice were not included.
If you think you might be one of the people who was not included do to this reason, but you REALLY want to be included, please make a new post with more clear answers and make a notation that you are reposting. I will check to see if I already put you int he database and if not I will add your clarified answers. Think of it as an EC for your answer
I've got plans with a friend tonight as well as a design project I have to work on that I'm actually getting paid for, so I'd say the earliest I am likely to start analyzing the data is tomorrow. I'll create a new thread where I will link to this thread (and vice versa) once I do so.

4)NO! only once, chose REFUSAL when EC came out, out of curiousity because none on the new endings videos had been yet posted at the time. Regreted it as soon as I did it. DESTROY is the only acceptable end for me.

1) Synthesis, because I was confused and just ran toward the pretty light beam (Then destroy, after I figured out what was what)
2) 4
3) 8
4) I still can't decide between destroy or control. Benevolent God-like Shepard is appealing. Not to mention the EC makes FemShep sound so awesome in the control ending.

1) Synthesis, got surprised and choose in confusion/disgust
2) 2
3) 3
4) Destroy. Before the DLC was lauched I still had hope that bioware would prove IT. In fact, it seemed the only answer for so much child god bull**** and I thought that the designers of the game wanted to show that as well(What the **** is those trees right behind you before you enter the beam ?!). However things haven't gone this way. It has been almost a week since I've finished the DLC and I can't still accept why such a good game had such a stupid final and I'm still mourning. Why didn't they develop the breath scene ?!!!
Sorry for bad english.

4) Destroy. The first time I finished the game I was confused and the Catalyst convinced me. I just did another completely canon walktrough and, without even meta-gaming, came to the conclusion that the Reapers must be destroyed at any cost.

1) Destroy, because it seemed like control was too risky and synthesis was a little confusing at the time, and because the reapers had to be stopped.
2) 5
3) 8
4) Synthesis, because it would end all fighting between synthetics and organics, then the Reapers would stop trying to murder everybody. Also, the EC made me so happy with EDI taking about her life and how I changed it!!

Destroy
2) On a scale of 1-10 rate the pre-EC ending
3
3) On a Scale of 1-10 rate the post-EC ending
This...varies depending on which ending but the average is about a 5.
4) Did you at some point change what was your personal Shepard's "canon" choice, and if so what did you change to and why.
I temporarily went from Destroy to Reject...until I read that tweet that said the next cycle used the Crucible anyway. Felt like it's just a giant FU ending from BW. Went back to Destroy then.

1. Destroy
2. I'd give it about a 4.5
3. Now I'll give it about an 8. I thought the ending tied up a lot of the loose ends and answered all the questions. It was emotionally satisfying. My personal opinions beyond that would be cherry picking and wouldn't fall into the purpose of the question.
4. Still destroy. My paragon Shepard had his morals, but was renegade enough to be willing to make the difficult sacrifices. Let 1 billion die here to save 10 billion over there. He adhered to Sun Tzu's philosophy on war. Especially the part that said 'he who tries to defend everything will ultimately defend nothing.'
