I've gotten a red X and left the lobby cuz it made me mad, they were all lower level characters and lower N7 rank, so I'm guessing they felt intimidated. The only time I've booted someone is because of the bounty weekend we had to play as savage race and he wouldn't change to that race. But everybody had to start somewhere so I give benefit of the doubt. If they suck, I leave the lobby after the match is over

i only kick people on silver or gold if their loadout is crap and i'm not there to carry them... having an asari adept with a widow is just wrong. especially if that person dies every 10 seconds... sorry, you get the kick button after the match from me.

I'm torn ... Sometimes you got to kick ppl sometimes you got to give them a shot to play that's how you level up after all . But I'd boot a level 1 on say a mission weekend if I was on bronze got a good team went to try silver and some1 level 1 replaced some1 who left. I'd obviously be skeptical about a level 1 player on silver ...
